I’ve never believed in writing a bad review before, but I had to after this experience. I booked in for a gel polish removal and manicure — the appointment said £15, but I was charged £20 for some reason. I didn’t argue it, just paid and went ahead. One of my nails was actually bleeding during the manicure and it wasn’t even acknowledged. I asked for my nails to be filed just a bit shorter than what was shown on my pinky finger — instead, all my other nails were cut extremely short, and quite painfully. Meanwhile, my pinky was left really long! I also asked to keep the same almond shape I already had (again, referencing my pinky), but I ended up with a completely different shape. My nails are now scratched, unevenly filed, and look like they were removed carelessly. I didn’t want any polish, just a clean-up, but didn’t even get a buff or shine, which is normally standard. When I left, all the nail dust and leftover cream was still stuck under my nails. Overall, just really disappointed and upset, the hygiene of the seats and table didn’t help as well. I now have to redo and repair my nails myself.
Friendly staff and they are very fast service!The lady that did my nails was nice and she tried to do a good job! Overall I liked my nails, the only thing is that the tip nails are uneven (she tried to fix one of the thumbs but did not check the one that looked worse 😪) At the end the owner was not happy that l didn’t bring cash but they let me pay by card 🙏 so if you go there try to bring cash :) I paid £48 which if the tip nails were done a bit better I wouldn’t mind the price.
