I really enjoy training at Animal House. The atmosphere is always fun and positive. Manny is an amazing coach/teacher. He gives just enough instruction and feedback where you are improving but not so much that it feels overwhelming. He does this with a combination of humor and tons of patience. If you want to be a highly skilled fighter this is the gym for you. If you want to learn skills to defend yourself this is the gym for you. If you want to get in amazing shape this is the gym for you. If you want to meet some great people and have fun while being challenged at the same time, then this is also the gym for you.
This is not your typical gym where you hit bags and spar. Manny is meticulous with his details, stressing technique and smart training over everything. He's in it to thoroughly build people not just collect a check and have you sweat. Highly recommend.
Joining this gym was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I went in with no experience or knowledge of the sport, and I immediately felt welcomed and encouraged by everyone there. I genuinely could not ask for a better coach. Manny encourages a positive, close-knit culture, and he genuinely cares about his students and their success. Training is always the highlight of my day! I would recommend Animal House to anybody.
