Best South Indian restaurant beliw Irving. No buffet. This is ala carte only. No buffet. Bit pricier than Irving or Plano. Tried idli, vada, dosa. Cook is Tamil. Ambur Briyani was disappointing.
Food was great and so flavorful! We shared samosas, Butter Chicken Masala, and the Shrimp Korma. The staff was very helpful with recommendations and explaining the menu to us! We will be back for sure!
We were greeted with a warm smile when we first entered the lively hole-in-the wall. We had only eaten Southern Indian food once at a restaurant in Colorado, and a few dishes on a cruise...so when we were asked if we needed help with the menu...we both willingly agreed we needed guidance. We ended up getting dosa masala - which is a gigantic, hollow, crispy, lentil based tubular vessel that was filled with "mashed" potatoes. 3 different sauces accompanied this fun dish, including a peanut, coconut and tomato. Also we ordered tika masala that was AMAZING!! Because apparently we were starving, we also ordered Chicken Birayani 555. It has fried chicken and had the 555 sauce on it. Oh...and garlic naan...had to order that, too! We loved the entire experience and especially Preyanish! He was so warm and welcoming and guided us the entire way! He was also gracious to bring a sample of the Chai tea and some delicious donut type thing filled with a sugary creamy filling. We ended up with WAY TOO MUCH food...but who doesn't love appetizers?! Wow!! Thank you!
We ordered food from Annampuram for a big party, and I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was handled with so much care, professionalism, and genuine warmth. The food was absolutely delicious every dish was bursting with authentic Indian flavors, perfectly spiced, and made with obvious love. The way the owner went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The packing was incredibly thoughtful neatly labeled and organized, I appreciate that they truly cared about presentation and customer experience. The owner is the most generous person! You can see his passion for food and community in every aspect of how he run his restaurant. Highly recommended.
First timer!!!! Chai, Samosa, Mango Lassi, and Chicken Tika Masala ordered. Food fresh, hot, and tasty! Full of robust flavor Samosa dip and masala has some medium level of spice (I personally loved it) but if you dont like spicy, may was to consider asking them to modify. I also loved that the Chai stayed hot the entire time! Tables not cleaned and no heat while 60s outside. Late night visit with high foot traffic between students and food delivery driver pick up. Highly recommend and would love to come back!
