I’m very happy with the Anytime Fitness Mesa facility. The staff is friendly and helpful every time I go, which I really appreciate. I love that I can work out at any time that fits my schedule. The gym is always clean and never overcrowded, making it a great place to get my workouts done.
I really like the facility. It's not too busy, equipment is decent. I will say I have noticed some small maintenance things for the last few months I've been going to this one. There is some drywall that needs sanded near the water fountain, a rather unprofessional sign that is crookedly taped on the mirror next to the squat rack that reads something about not using chalk or we will cancel your membership, and the smith machine could use some silicone spray on the guide rods. Now granted I don't use chalk but the sign just looks funny and kind of off putting to members.
I’ve been going to Anytime fitness for a little while now, and I like the atmosphere. People are friendly, great place to go at your convenience without the hassle of it being closed. This is Jeff, the owner of Classic Shades Painting Water Damage & Restoration LLC
Since the change in ownership/management, they stopped having bottles with disinfectant and instead now have 2 receptacles with wipes. Since they are unstaffed for the entire weekend, at least one is empty and the other one has wipes that are dried out. I won't go to a dirty gym with bad sanitary practices. I cancelled my membership as soon as I found out the change was permanent.
I really like this more intimate, smaller gym location. We were allowed to have a free week trial to see if it was a good fit, which I really appreciated. This never would have happened at another big box chain gym. It hasn’t been busy since I’ve joined, so I never have to wait for machines. That’s a major plus. Much superior to the normal large chain gyms we all know about. Also, affordable membership for 2 people!
