I’ve come in twice for piercings in the last few weeks and both experiences were great. Braxton did a set of second lobes for me and my husband at the end of December. We had to wait a while, but he was extremely pleasant and professional despite being the only piercer working due to illness. I returned in January to have those downsized and to get a helix piercing, which Rachel did for me. She was super personable and knowledgeable and made the entire experience very pleasant. I can’t wait to come back for my next one!
I have had my nose pierced and a full sleeve tattoo done at this location. The service has always been professional, welcoming, and friendly. When my 7 year old asked for her ears pierced we headed in for a walk in. The studio was PACKED. I’m talking standing room only- and most of them kids in various age ranges. I run a business myself, so I really pay attention to function. I was so impressed. From the reception staff to all 3 piercing artists who were helping manage the crowd. They took time to be intentional with each client at the desk with no rush. The crowd was handled with so much grace and patience. @hokeypokin took us back for my daughters ear piercings and she was amazing with her. My girl was a little nervous and Rachel calmed her nerves and pumped her up. She even went over after care with my girl so she would understand how important it is. As a mom, your child being cared for and important as an individual is everything. Arcadia / Rachel exceeded all expectations. Thank you for being awesome!
Corrine previously did amazing tattooing me. Today I was a walk in for piercing. Dani looked at my anatomy before ever taking payment and determined that my ear was not suitable for an industrial. While disappointing she had suggestions for what I could do. It is great to have a piercer more concerned with quality than a quick buck. She did a piercing which was quick and relatively painless. She was sure to give good aftercare instructions and encourage me to come in for a follow up. While they are a little more pricy, I find the quality of work and service to be well worth it.
I came in for help changing my nose ring to a stud. Rachel was very helpful when I wasn’t sure what jewelry to get. It was $10 for the jewelry swap and totally painless. She was very professional and friendly. I got a titanium stud for about $50 and she ionized it (I think that’s the right term) to gold. They do have a gorgeous selection and she said they had real gold jewelry too, but I was on a budget. All in all, I spent around $70, but it would have been cheaper if I had a stud to use. Beware, Saturday’s are walk-in days for tattoos so it was pretty busy. Piercings are always walk-in so I would go during the week if you are able.
Leah and Co. at Arcadia are *hands down* the best shop in town! I’ve been getting tattooed by Leah ever since she struck out on her own and opened this glorious place. Such brilliant color work from her, and the artists that work with her are so diverse that you can literally get anything you could ever want. Would recommend them 100% of the time!
