Francisco Matos helped us with a duplex renovation to a 4 units in San Francisco. This project required extensive knowledge of the San Francisco building code. His advice was spot on and he helped us pass through all manner of obstacles to achieve the best result for our project. He continues to lend support and provide contacts to make sure the project is completed. In addition to being a knowledgeable architect he is unflappable and congenial.
Francisco helped me with legalization of ADU in San Francisco. Anyone who has worked with San Francisco building requirements and getting work done in the city knows how challenging it can be. Francisco is extremely knowledgeable about how things works in the city, He guided me through the entire process. When my plans changed, he helped navigate the complex system. He was patient and responded in a timely fashion. I am very thankful, especially given how busy he is. You are in good hands if you work with Francisco.
Francisco was thorough in reviewing our house so that we could complete our 100+ year old restoration. He went back and forth between DBI and our home project making sure that everything was just right. I had a complex project involving a 2-bed 2-bath new story addition including roofdeck a that Architects SF helped me skillfully navigate in the city of San Francisco. The team at Architects SF is patient, works worked with my requirements, and provided very good feedback on the best path forward. They understand the code incredibly well and know how to operate with the department of building inspection. It's hard to capture all the work that was done but you can get a sense of the quality just by looking at the new bathrooms (one of which included a steam shower).
