Beautiful bakery, in the heart of such a lovely district, dishing out quality goods bursting with flavour. Everything here looks unbelievable. I’ve never been in a bakery that I’m upset I didn’t buy every single thing they offered. The danishes are whole reason I want to visit London again, and I didn’t even try it! I wanted to eat the chairs with my eyes, the whole place is decorated so well, and smelled like nostalgia mixed with heaven. You’re mesmerised watching the bakers making everything right in front of your face, it’s such a cool place to be in. The lemon cheesecake was so well balanced. The lemon bursted through the smooth cream cheese. The biscuit base was crumbly and smooth, but maintained its structure all the way through eating it. Pastries were around £5-7 and there was a queue, so had to wait for 10 mins, but my goodness is it worth it. Staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, place worked like clockwork! Cracking cheers :)
Love the place. There’s queue at the entrance for eat in or take away. So be there early! Love the honey toast and almond croissant, but the savory options are not my fav. We liked the sweet baked goods a lot and we ended up coming back several times!
The best chocolate almond croissant I’ve ever had — truly unforgettable. Arome is one of the best bakeries in London, known for its signature pastries like the honey butter toast (which I haven’t tried yet), but I did have the miso apple danish and the chocolate almond croissant. I’m usually not a big fan of apple desserts, but this danish completely changed my mind. The miso adds a subtle umami flavor, perfectly balancing the sweetness of the apples. Unlike most apple pastries that miss the mark on texture, this one had both crunch and flakiness. Inside, the almond filling added the right amount of nuttiness, making every bite feel harmonious — 10/10. And the croissant… absolutely flawless. Buttery, light, and crisp — I could literally travel to London just to have it again. You can dine in or take away, both options are great. If you have time for only one bakery in London, make it Arome. No hesitation — it’s a must-visit.
Over hyped … ordered the Honey Butter toast and the Parmesan Nori pastry thingy. I don’t know what I was expecting but it was quite anti climatic in flavour. The crunch of the pastry was good . Honey butter toast was not too sweet which I liked but had this weird honey aftertaste. For the price it’s not worth it.. I have had way better !! The service was meh!! The aesthetic was Beautiful . They need to update their website. Because it said they did the bacon escargot but they had stopped making it
Sweet heaven! The pastries were buttery and flaky, and were perfectly crispy. We had the honey butter toast (10/10), the tomato pesto danish and the spinach quiche. You can tell everything is made fresh. The kind of place that makes you smile with every bite!
