I'm so grateful for Christine. Her compassionate approach and expert guidance have made a huge difference in my recovery. I feel more confident to move and motivated every visit. Thank you for all your support and dedication Christine! Her assistant, on the other hand, could benefit from improving her communication skills to better convey information and ensure clarity.
Prompt and polite service, excellent therapists and they work well with me to insure I stay on track for my therapy. Everything was going great, then a month in they changed my starting time without my agreement through text. So I show up normal time and they tell me I’m late and can’t be seen. I was never verbally asked nor approved the scheduled time changes and while they sent a text, moving the time from 8:30 to 8:00, i don’t feel that was enough notice to switch on me and won’t be going back.
I feel welcomed and comfortable. The only thing I would like is for the therapists to watch to see if you are doing the exercises correctly and check in to ask how you feel. How the exercise is affecting you while you're doing it. I understand that they have to be at the computer, but it's a lot at that rather than checking in. They might be so busy that you don't want to interrupt what they have to do. A couple years ago, I had therapy there. Truthfully, the therapists were more engaged then. Overall, I am very satisfied.
My experience with ATI was short to say the least. I went in for pt one time the trainer seemed like a nice guy. He was making my pt schedule and said he wanted to do 2 times a week but due to limited pts schedules for the first 2 weeks I could only get scheduled one time a week. That was fine. In all fairness I canceled my next appointment due to not feeling well. The next the pt canceled. Then I canceled due to a babysitting issue. The day of my next appointment a lady from ATI called to cancel on behalf of my pt because he wasn't going to be there. She then told me because I canceled 3 appointments and this was my 4th cancelation that they'd like to know if I just wanted to close my case because of the excessive appointments that I canceled. I said you're calling me to cancel. How is this counting against me if the pt isn't available? I said yes I canceled 2 appointments but this is the 2nd my pt has canceled as well. So technically I missed 2. She said let me check, oh yes I do see that and I apologize. Did you want me to tell you when your next appointment is? I said no close my case. I'd rather not go back there. Your pt canceled and you're claiming it was me and trying to let me go before checking your facts. I'd rather find another pt that is less crowded and doesn't cancel on their end and hold me accountable for it. I'd never go back to ATI
After 3 visits I am pretty much done. I will try a few online meetings before my final decision. On this last visit, I was told I was not ready to be shown the strengthening exercises so I spent the visit sitting and standing, then pretty much on my own to perform two stretches. I am pretty active and exercise 4 days a week. If this 3rd visit had been spent going over the stretches I might be more confident that ATI would be a good fit, so far, no.
