A beautiful home in a gorgeous area. It was easy to get to downtown and back, some nice restaurants and food options in the area, an HEB grocery nearby, and generally quiet. The home itself was great, had lots of things you need for short term stay, and a very responsive host. Overall, I'm happy and I'd recommend this place.
We stayed at a 2 Br rental near Zilker Park, "Walk to Zilker Park, Patio w/a View," and could not have been more pleased. We looked in this area specifically to go to Barton Springs and it was ideal. The location is perfect, 0.4 miles from jumping in the spring. We felt safe walking from the springs back to the rental after dark. Lots of people out walking themselves and their pets. The area is extremely quiet. Communication could not have been better. All instructions were clear and response times were fast and pleasant. The unit itself was perfect. Set up and back from the rest of the units so felt very private. Large living area with a patio and kitchen on the ground floor. Also a half bath on ground floor which is great. Two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. The main bedroom had the large deck. Stayed in January, but had beautiful weather and we were able to sit on the deck in the evening. Since it is higher than the surrounding area, it feels very private and there is a partial view of downtown. You do not feel like you are "on view" on the deck. We only stayed for one night, but this would be the perfect base for a longer, active stay in Austin. Free parking is provided, so if you need to come and go in your car, you can do that as well.
We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Austin! We traveled with 2 adults and 3 kids, and the space was more than enough for all of us to be comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, relax, and still feel at home. The house was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for families. The layout made it easy to keep the kids comfortable while the adults could unwind as well. Everything we needed was provided, which made our stay stress-free. The location was also great ,quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to enjoy everything Austin has to offer. The host was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth from check-in to check-out. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to families or larger groups looking for space, comfort, and a great Austin experience. We would definitely stay here again!
We stayed at a 3 BR house on Shoal Crest in Austin. This home was perfect for what we needed: 4 adults in Austin for a couple of days of daytime golf, night time music. Good size, extremely clean (which is one the most important traits I seek in an Air BnB.), good location...easy Uber drive to 6th Street and other destinations. Hosts were very responsive. The house was well appointed with the basic paper, laundry detergent, paper products, etc. I apparently did not notice the 3rd BR is an unattached building. This was fine, but we were a little surprised when we arrived. I'd stay there again if I had a similar trip planned.
I’ve stayed with several rental companies in Austin, and Austin Vacay is by far the most reliable, beautifully curated, and guest-focused team I’ve ever worked with. Every property is spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully stocked, it honestly feels like walking into a boutique hotel but with way more comfort and personality. Communication was fast, friendly, and super helpful from start to finish. Check-in was easy, the space looked exactly like the photos (actually better!), and all the little details were taken care of. It made our stay completely stress-free. Highly recommend Austin Vacay to anyone visiting Austin, whether you want a cozy weekend escape or a luxury stay, they deliver every single time. I’ll definitely be booking with them again!
