⚠️ WARNING – DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE Continuation of previous review.. Your response does not address the core issue at all. My concern is not simply that you “found issues” — it is that my vehicle was altered while in your care, which is completely unacceptable for any licensed inspection facility. A safety inspection is meant to evaluate a vehicle, not change its condition in order to justify repairs. That alone destroys trust. I stand by my experience. The condition of my vehicle before and after your inspection did not match, and a second licensed mechanic confirmed that the issues you claimed were either exaggerated or not present at all. That is not a difference of opinion — that is a serious integrity concern. Additionally, anyone looking through your reviews should take a close look at the profiles leaving them. A large number appear to be accounts with only a single review, which raises serious questions about authenticity. I strongly encourage the public to read reviews carefully and look for genuine, consistent feedback rather than blindly trusting ratings that may exist only to make a business appear reputable. A business built on trust should never leave a customer feeling manipulated or misled. Unfortunately, that is exactly how this experience felt. I am sharing this so others can make informed decisions and protect themselves from a similar situation.
I drive a 2008 Toyota Crown Hybrid JDM. As someone who often found it challenging to find exports of Japanese imported vehicles, Auto Imports has taken care of any problems I've had with my vehicle over the last two years. They often provide a realistic timeline, a fair price, and check in with you afterwards, unprompted, which I appreciate. The only reason I wouldn't give this company a five-star review is that sometimes they fail to do certain things I believe are essential for good customer service. For example, I've spent nearly $3,000 on services this year to prepare my vehicle for winter, including installing a block heater, topping off all the fluids, and performing comprehensive diagnostics, essentially covering everything you could think of for added peace of mind. A few months later, I had a coolant leak, no fault of their own, nothing major, just a seal (cap) that was leaking over time. After they replaced the cap and topped up the fluid, they didn't wipe down any of the coolant that had leaked all over the engine bay. I know this because I went in for an oil change at Fountain Tire a week or so later, for the convenience of Fountain Tire being walking distance from home. And they showed me pictures and gave me the rundown about a crazy amount of coolant everywhere you could imagine. I was genuinely shocked when I saw the photos because I just had the coolant leak fixed. No exaggeration, there was coolant everywhere. So, I performed the diagnostics again, and turns out there was no leak. The point I'm trying to make is I know Auto Imports aren't a detailing company, but I figured if you have a customer who is consistent and spends a few thousand dollars in services, the least you can do is wipe down the coolant that was leaking in the engine bay after correcting whatever was causing the leak. Doing so would have saved me money and time from doing a whole other diagnostic. I think those minor differences are the difference between a five-star company and a four-star company.
It was a pleasure to have Auto Imports work on my fairly new Jaguar. I am happy with my upkeep & maintenance from this company. And I would choose them as my permanent maintenence & service team. They came.across as honest and answered all my questions & gave me alot of good advice.
It’s a genuine relief to have found a trustworthy alternative to servicing my 2010 Jaguar XF outside of the Jaguar Land Rover dealership. Auto Imports impressed me with their clear commitment to quality service and customer retention. When the check engine light came on, I chose to visit Auto Imports based on their strong reviews—and I’m glad I did. From the moment I entered their front office, I felt assured by their professionalism and expertise. That confidence was well placed. Unlike the often vague and technical reports I’ve received from the dealership, Auto Imports provided a clear, well-organized breakdown of the vehicle’s condition—categorizing items as OK, Suggested, or Required, with helpful explanations where needed. Their quote was transparent, detailed, and easy to understand, and the work was completed on time and to a high standard. In contrast, my experience with the dealership has leaned more toward amenities—such as a complimentary car wash and a short video of the vehicle’s undercarriage—than on meaningful technical communication or service transparency. Going forward, both my Jaguar and my wife’s Land Rover Discovery will be serviced at Auto Imports. Their professionalism, clarity, and genuine care for their customers have earned my trust.
First time at Auto Import and definitely not the last! I needed an urgent inspection for the 2010 Mercedes I had just purchased and they took me in right away. Jeremy was great, the service excellent and the price was right. I will absolutely recommend without hesitation!
