We went with one recommended item (chocolate filed cake made of shortbread) and a Mazrin, and we loved the recommended items. It is great small joint and also sell variety of artisan breads and pastries. We will definitely go again.
I visited Bageriet and tried their famous cinnamon bun topped with sugar crystals. It was absolutely delicious—definitely not your usual cinnamon bun. The flavor was rich, unique, and a must-try if you’re a cinnamon bun enthusiast. Do note that there’s usually no waiting line, but it can be difficult to find seating, so be prepared to take your order to go. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the cinnamon bun stuck to the paper, so I couldn’t finish it completely. Otherwise, it would’ve been a perfect experience. Overall, still highly recommended!
Delicious and prime quality! The pastries were tender and buttery and the service excellent: we got to try a broken pastry for free and the girls were very enthusiastic to share about the bakery. The cinnamon bun was a litttle bit too dry but still tasty in the amount of spice.
Wow, what a fantastic place. Not just the best Scandinavian bakery I've been to, but maybe one of the best bakeries in general. Such an amazing choice of delicious treats, as well as kind and friendly service. The shop was cute and quaint, it felt so festive and warm on a cold November day. This will definitely be a regular stop of mine whenever I'm in the area, I'll have to treat myself to a slice of the princess cake on a special day, and I can't wait for semla season which is one of my favourite sweet treats of all time! :)
Hyper-cosy mycket-mysig cutesy Swedish konditeri in oh so historical Rose Street, enveloped by kitsch, hipsterian Covent Garden. Tiny place - only 3 people can sit spread horizontally. So better for buns and coffee to go. They cater best for passing trade. Cakes and coffees delicious - buns decidely moreish and very authentically Swedish. My visit co-incided with two afficianadi of Swedish baking; if they were impressed (and they were) it must have been good. It was. In Sweden fika is like a religion. I think the Bishop of Stängnäs will be blessing the dough daily from now on! [By the way I've met his eminence in person].
