Bakehouse est une boulangerie et café tendance à l’aménagement ouvert, située au début de la piste cyclable Bristol–Bath. This used to be a favourite, but recently have been disappointed. The coffee is not good. They only use disposable cups/serving plates, even for eat/drink in. Do better! Also couldn't see a recycling bin in there. The staff are still lovely and the cakes are nice.
Loved this. Came for a one night stay over and came here for breakfast. The sandwiches are amazing. The place is a trendy and fun experience definitely not a greasy spoons. The choice of cakes and pastries is huge. If we're in the area again definitely will come again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This open-plan bakery and café is located right at the start of the Bristol to Bath cycle path. They have absolutely delicious bakes – the cakes are finger-licking good! We come here from time to time for coffee and something sweet. It can get quite busy, but that’s no surprise – quality always attracts people. On a nice day, the outdoor seating makes the experience even better.
A nice coffee and a good pastie. To be constructively critical (I hope!) I’m not giving them a 5 b/c I felt the options were a bit basic… would’ve been nice for there to be a special pastie of the day or something a little more exciting. Was good though I’ll visit again!
Visited on a Saturday brunch time, and it was almost full but still some tables and not a long wait to order. Lovely atmosphere and great variety of pastry and food! It reminded me of a bakery in Amsterdam. The pasty was super good, well seasoned and hot! If it were in Cornwall it would be above average. The sausage roll was very big and delicious too! Tasted like it had Italian seasoning and the pastry was crispy. The butter croissant was fresh, a bit doughy and you could taste the butter. We enjoyed the iced lattes too.
