Decent haircuts, but for a place as expensive as it this, you’d think you’d think they could afford someone to answer the phones! I understand that booking happens online, but for minor last-minute changes there is no way to communicate them online. Really frustrating and not a good look to cheap out on customer service when you are charging 80 dollars for a haircut. As is the fact that I consistently have to wait at least 10-15 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. And as a response to the owner’s condescending comment below, most industries do in fact have someone available to answer the phone. As I mentioned, I understand that the policy exists, I just think it is bad business and indicates cheapness (which is not ideal for someone in the service industry).
I stopped by this barber shop a few weeks ago, and I’m really glad I did. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in — clean space, good music, and friendly barbers who make you feel at ease. My barber took time to listen to what I wanted and offered some helpful advice to make the cut look even better. If you’re looking for a place that combines skill, cleanliness, and a friendly touch, I definitely recommend giving this shop a try.
Great location and amazing vibe inside! I saw Dougie before coming home to see my family and he got me looking CORRECT. I don't think there's anything he can't do and was so personable the whole time - he really took the time to understand what I was looking for even though I'm not too familiar with the proper "barbershop lingo". 10/5 recommend to everyone I know in the city and will definitely be back.
Bo is absolutely fantastic. I’ve been coming to Bo for over a year for both beard trims and haircuts. He’s a brilliant guy, who does an outstanding job. He’s also great conversation. Best hair cut I’ve had in Boston. Highly recommend.
Scheduling your appointment online is so convenient!! We were able to get in the same afternoon we arrived in to Boston. Bo did a great job cleaning up my husbands beard and shaving him. I think my husband slept the whole time he was that relaxed. You guys have a great shop!!! Highly recommended!!!
