So glad we still have a place to sit abd hold books with a cup of coffee and conversation. The staff was welcoming and helpful and my grand daughter gained a love for books!
Shout out to the cashier who just helped with a little rush! I had come in to pick up an online order and only 1 of 4 copies I ordered were up front. The assistant manager was helping with my transaction when the line started to back up. He went to help search the store for the rest of my books while another gal came up to take care of the registers. Not only did she give EXCELLENT customer service, but she also did research between transactions to help locate the books I was waiting for. She took time with each customer to ask about their days and converse about their reading plans all while keeping a positive attitude and ensuring accuracy (multiple customers had rewards to use and/or gift cards/coupons). AMAZING teamwork! This girl deserves a raise! ❤️ (She also had on a very cute sleeveless sweater which I appreciated as someone who crochets/knits 😉)
I mean, it's Barnes & Noble... You can find almost any book here, large selection, knickknacks, coffee; I could spend HOURS here. If you love books...here you go! The Southpointe Store and the O Street location are pretty big, clean, and welcoming.
I'm the coffee inside the bookstore. The atmosphere is so relaxed, and they are perfectly matched together. Clean and very nice people, too.
