Barnes & Noble Corporate Team — I hope this review reaches the right people because Claudia is the kind of employee every company should strive to have. She represents Barnes & Noble at the highest level. Claudia is exceptionally friendly, professional, and deeply knowledgeable. She took her time answering questions with genuine patience and care, never once making us feel rushed. What truly sets her apart is her natural ability to connect with customers—she effortlessly spoke multiple languages to assist different guests, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment that is rare to experience in retail today. Her bubbly personality, positive energy, and passion for helping others completely elevated our visit. She promotes products thoughtfully and with integrity, always focused on what’s best for the customer. Because of Claudia, this visit felt memorable—not transactional. Employees like Claudia are invaluable. She is a true asset to Barnes & Noble and deserves recognition, appreciation, and advancement. Experiences like this are why customers remain loyal. Please recognize her outstanding work.
That lady at the cashier was awesome. I picked out the TMNT trilogy 4k box set it was $99.99 it was the wrong price that's the only issue with Barnes & Noble. Mom showed them the website on her phone it says $69.99 in store and online. The cashier scanned it ranged up at $75.00 .She said she will lower it to $70.00 just this once.`Thank you to the Cashier and my mom for helping/getting the lower price. I will highly recommend Barnes & Noble to anyone who wants a bookstore besides other bookstores in Reno NV It is a drive to where me & my parents live but it's so worth it. A bit pricey but worth the drive if you have time...
I love yhis place so much! They have a huge selection for EVERYONE and you can sit and read for a sec to see if thats the book you want. I really enjoyed seeing all the people and knowing this place is still alive and going. Great customer service as well the lady we had was very nice and patient. Great job! I definitely recommend and will be back
One of my favorite places to be! We try to make the special events on the weekends because there's always something fun for the kids. They got a free Lego set last week and had so much putting it together right there in the store.
The store is fine. Staff is friendly enough with some stars shining brighter than others haha. However, for years I have been coming to this Barnes and Noble and I’m finally speaking out on the internet about it rather than to someone in the store as I have been doing. The restrooms look like something out of an Hollywood horror, dystopian crappy New York Subway station. They are ALWAYS filthy and have human waste everywhere. This is in part due to the easy access and proximity of the restroom to the main doors and my cities rising homeless population unfortunately. I’ve been coming here for years and do like the store but things are getting worse as far as cleanliness of the restrooms. I won’t allow my child in them anymore because I don’t want her to catch a life altering disease. I’m not exaggerating. It is extremely unclean and most of the hardware is broken such as the hand dryers, sinks, and the seat cover dispensers which are always empty. I’m hoping this message gets seen by someone with some real power and authority because it has gotten completely out of hand.
