The owner/manager is a Hollywood star from the 30s and 40s. She still runs this store at 102 years old. Just visited her with my daughters last week. Check out this place!
Had the pleasure of meeting Patricia today at the store. She is an absolute gem. Words cannot express the love she exudes. Such a beautiful woman inside and out ❤️

Well a little warning would have been nice. This is less of a store and more of an experience. There is a 102 old lady that greets you the second you walk in the door. She will ask a few questions then goes into a script about her life and a book she wrote with pictures. It’s definitely an experience. I went first by myself then went back with my family because they wanted to see it. She told the same story word for word. She wants to sell you a copy of the book. Check it out for a good story.
My daughter and I stumbled upon Bartevian while visiting Emerson College. Patricia went through her life story in great detail. She has clearly seen it all. We were happy to buy a book from her. The store is full of old-time nik naks. This place is worth a visit.
