I honestly would probably give them a 3 1/2 and the reason for this rating is because the restaurant although it was beautiful the staff was super nice our Waiter Kelley was very nice and helpful four people at our table ordered the steak which is a $40 steak. I ordered mine medium well three other people ordered there’s medium rare, four of our steaks were pretty much cooked the same and they were all overcooked not only that but they put some kind of rosemary on top of the steaks and it was charred so it gave the steak a burnt taste now this is disappointing because $40 for a steak is not cheap so I expected a wow factor and did not get that The pasta was wonderful. I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t homemade because for a place like that with those prices, I would expect that to be homemade, but it was still good. One other thing that took me by surprised is the restrooms theybsre unisex, which is fine but if you’re gonna have it that way, you definitely need somebody checking on those restrooms. I went to two different restrooms toilet seats were up and there was pee on the floor, not something I expected from a restaurant like that. I give it a 7 out of 10, and that’s probably be nice. I might go back again, but it would probably only be for a glass of wine and an appetizer.
We went for the restaurant week menu. It was a great first time at Battalion! The converted firehouse is a neat venue and the food was perfectly seasoned. There was a good wine selection to pair with the meal.
Kelly and Wasey made me and my mothers night. It was our second time dining in, and luckily we got kelly again. One of the most attentive and personable servers I've ever had. The menu had just changed and Wasey called us to confirm we were aware of the menu changes, with those changes it was still a phenomenonal menu. Cannot wait to have another amazing experience soon. Highly recommend the lobster toast and tuna tartare. 10/10.
I really enjoyed how low key the space was — from the lighting to the noise level. I really enjoyed being able to have a casual conversation. Additionally, they have diverse wine selection and the food was really good. Our server was really kind and they were so thoughtful to bring a free cake for my birthday. FYI you can get discounted parking at one of the lots so make sure you ask before hand.
Food was amazing. Every plate we ordered was delicious. The service was very friendly and fast. They are very busy so make a reservation if possible.
