I had an appt. for hair and makeup at 9am. My appt was complete at 11. My special event was 5 minutes away from the salon at an indoor location 12-1. My hair did not even make it through the appointment. The manager blamed the weather. My hair was Bobby pinned and literally fell out. I was outside to walk to the vehicle and back inside. I live 2 1/2 hours from the salon and was told I could come back in so it could be redone. The manager already blamed the weather for my hair falling out so I’m also not entirely sure how it could be any different when it is snowing/raining more than before! My event that my hair was done for is already over and I am on my way home. They absolutely will not give a refund. Beware no refunds even when they’re at fault. The girl used a huge curling iron causing my curls to be so loose they fell out while I was still there. I asked the girl if she had a smaller barrel, she said that was all she had. The manager said they have a limited supply of equipment.
Sasha at Be Inspired West Madison location absolutely slayed the hair! She was so kind and highly capable.
This was one of the most expensive haircuts I’ve had—and easily the worst. I went in specifically for a curly cut and have naturally curly hair, which I explained clearly along with what my texture needs. Because my hair was brushed that day, she said she couldn’t dry cut it. There was very little conversation about expectations—I felt like I had to initiate most of it, even after bringing reference photos for my bangs. The hair wash was uncomfortable (the chair was too low for the sink), and it didn’t seem thorough—I could still hear suds in my hair afterward. Although my hair was styled curly, the result didn’t resemble my natural curl pattern at all. The products left my hair crunchy and crinkly, and I was honestly embarrassed to leave the salon. I called and went in so they could see my hair and they wouldn’t give a refund.
Shout out to Analexis. She truly knows curly hair and never ceases to amaze me with her innovative ideas. She is empowering, encouraging, and always pushes me just enough outside my comfort zone. I leave feeling confident and looking gorgeous every time. Thank you, Be Inspired Salon!
I have been going to Be Inspired for 7-8 years for curly or straight cuts. The staff are always friendly and efficient, the stylists skilled and knowledgeable. This past year I have been seeing Michelle regularly and I cant say enough about how positive my experience has been. Michelle is truly invested in creating the style you are seeking - taking the time, providing thoughtful and helpful tips on products and styling. She just goes above and beyond. I have honestly loved every straight and curly cut I have had with her.
I have been getting my hair done here for YEARS! I usually see Courtney (who is amazing) but each stylist is good and likes different things so you can for sure find the stylist for you!! here are some pictures of things i have done to my hair which exceeded my expectations! The only reason I don’t go here anymore is due to moving out of state!! I love this place highly recommend!!
