Very professional and fast even up 3 flights of stairs! Very very impressive only good things to say and would 100% use their service again!
Fast but at a cost. Several items damaged. Including my daughter’s bed. They shredded my mattress topper by folding it instead of rolling it. One of my tubs was also cracked. They hire out to other moving companies. They don’t have their own movers.
⭐️ 1-Star Review: Full-Service Move That Was Not Full Service I paid for a FULL SERVICE MOVE, expecting exactly what was advertised — a complete relocation of my household items into my new apartment. I did my part by having everything already disassembled and placed at the front of the house, with the only exceptions being the washer and dryer. I want to be clear: the movers themselves were professional, and I appreciate their attitude and effort. My issue is entirely with the company policies and how my situation was handled. When I arrived, the elevators in the building were out of service — something completely outside of my control. Instead of offering any reasonable accommodation, the only options the company gave me were: 1. Pay extra daily fees to keep my belongings in their trailer, or 2. Have everything dropped in my garage, leaving me to fend for myself. For a company offering full service, it is unacceptable that not even the basic essentials were brought into my apartment. Regardless of the elevator situation, this is a moving company. Stairs are a part of moving — especially when a customer has invested in full-service support. I am extremely disappointed. I paid for a service I did not fully receive, and the lack of accommodation or alternative solutions felt unreasonable and unfair. Customers deserve transparency and reliability, especially during something as stressful as moving. I hope this review pushes the company to rethink how they handle situations like this, because no customer paying for full service should be left this way.
Consider this your warning - DO NOT use this company to move your valuable belongings. First, the communication is beyond sketchy and terrible. We got 3 movers whom did not speak any English. Once they left our home we realized when they put our nice upholstered king bed back together, they swapped the side boards and DRILLED holes in our upholstery without our consent, with the manufactured holes showing at the other end….you can’t make this up. Completely ruined our bed. Not to mention it’s wobbly and the ends are all unevenly screwed in. When we went to customer service to file the complaint they offered us a whopping $85 for our $1300 bed. That their movers deliberately ruined by their own stupidity. Oh and also- it’s all AI robots you’re dealing with so you can’t even speak with a real person in customer service. It’s all a complete scam. We are still waiting on a response from our last email on Oct 31, when we threatened to have our lawyer reach out to them. I’ve never been so upset with a moving company in my life.
I got ghosted by American Vanlines after making a 50% deposit. I was scrambling to find someone to get my interstate move done, quickly. Victor in sales found me a mover 2 days from my call & got my stuff there the same day American was supposed to. Bellhop's service is streamlined, so their website & app are great, and there's constant communication. They have a dedicated truck & driver just for you, so actually gave me an exact pickup & drop off date, which they stuck to. I couldn't find another company who'd do that. The movers on both sides were punctual & fast. The driver got there even earlier than promised, and I asked Bellhop if they could, by chance, organize an unload crew sooner, which they amazingly did! It was an all around corrective experience. If I have to move again, I'd definitely use them!!
