Great vibe overall. Lively place with a fun boardwalk feel, good views, and lots going on around. Nice spot to walk around, grab food, and just enjoy the atmosphere, especially in the evening.
It's a fantastic spot for a few hours of fun and a great way to combine an amusement park visit with a beach day. Come for the classic atmosphere and the roller coaster, stay for the beach views and a fun family time. Just plan ahead for parking and consider a ride pass to maximize the value. Recommended!
We had an amazing time yesterday. Having a wristband makes it so easy to hop on rides. Not crowded either and all the staff were very nice. We were able to ride the same rides multiple times. Miniature golf is included in the bands. Will go back next week!! So fun and right by the beach.
Belmont Park Dipper Dash 5K: The Most Fun 5K Ever! I had the pleasure of completing the Dipper Dash 5K, and it truly was the best and most fun 5K ever! What a fantastic way to celebrate Belmont Park's 100th anniversary. The course was incredibly unique, running through the park and around the iconic Giant Dipper roller coaster, plus a great section along the beach. It had a fantastic, energetic atmosphere right from the start. The post-race recovery was top-notch with treats like chocolate milk and a pizza port popup 😋! I highly recommend this race for a unique San Diego event that perfectly mixes fitness with classic amusement park fun.
Wow what can I say if you haven't been to Belmont park you need to go. This little amusement park is right off of the beach. It is free to get in, but if you are going to get on the rides all of them I suggest get a wristband. If not a lot of the rides are like seven tickets and up. Each ticket costs a dollar. There are clothing stores here as well as gift shops. Has a lot of concession stands with amazing food. They also have this area called The Plunge or something where it's an indoor pool for the kids where the parents can work out at top. And the price is very reasonable and decent. There is also an arcade here as well as a little Carnival booths. And if you get bored here it's just a hop skip and jump away from the beach you walk to the back and there you go. Like I said if you haven't been here to Belmont in San Diego, it's a must your kids will love it. Here are some pictures from this park. Hope you enjoy, God bless you all.
