Dr. Hillary is very knowledgeable and kind. I came in with excruciating sciatica pain, and after 3 treatments I was able to lift my leg again. Still in some pain but now it is bearable. I have tried PT, chiropractic work, and multiple massages- to no avail. This was the most beneficial thing I have found for the gnawing sciatica pain. Go Hillary!
Dr. Lai is amazing. Highly skilled and knowledgeable in TCM/acupuncture. Very understanding of my medical condition/situation and she customized my treatment accordingly. Would highly recommend her for anyone who needs acupuncture treatment.

I have used acupuncture medicine for almost 15 years. I was diagnosed with RA at 30 years old. I read & discovered acupuncture can alleviate pain, swelling and close to a miracle I was able to walk again and I ditched my orthopaedic shoes. It was hard to break my relationship with my acupuncturist in KCMO since moving to Texas earlier this year. Nonetheless, Dr. Lai picked up the care of me as if I never left KCMO. She also minimized my anxiety and stress I experienced since moving here. The practice upholds cleaniness & organization to high standards. Relaxing music plays in the background as you fall asleep during the 40-45 minute treatment (I believe you can have a family member sit quietly in the room during treatments). Her prices are reasonable if insurance does not cover treatments. And she usually has openings the same day you call in. Thank you Dr. Lai.
