Good luck actually getting ahold of them, they never pick up the phone or give you any updates for ordered glasses. Most of the 5 star reviews are just made to enter a monthly raffle. And before you leave a generic reply to this review, I did call your office manager twice and never got a reply. Fix your staffing
I meet with recommended Dr. Regina Sun for my cataract surgery at Berkeley Eye Center. Excellent Experience. Then I meet Miss Jennifer Galvan who set up my appointment and went through my preparation for my surgery and answered all my questions. I asked about FMLA assistance and was direct to Miss Christina Danley who along with Dr. Sun helped fill out my forms. Even my phone calls to the office were handled with immediate and courteous attention by Miss Anna Losoya who works the call center. Recently had my eye surgery and can see again, best Christmas present ever, courtesy of the Ladies listed above at Berkeley Eye Center! I Highly recommend Berkeley for all your eye needs 5 Stars for Excellent Service above and beyond. Thank You...
10/8/25 review - Today I went in for evaluation for surgery and saw Dr. Talluto. She confirmed I needed surgical procedures in both eyes. She is willing to work to get everything done before the end of the year. Then, I worked with Jennifer Galvan in Scheduling and Insurance Submission. Now, Jennifer has the "wonderful" job of dealing with insurance company, but she has me scheduled for two separate appointments - before the end of the year! She was kind and very helpful. 10/7/25 review - I have been a patient of Berkeley for about 20 years. It has always been a pleasant experience. Yesterday, at a glaucoma check, my doctor suggested a minor surgical procedure that might help me but another doctor would have to do it. Scheduling with that doctor was difficult (busy doc) but, because of Medicare, I need to have the evaluation and procedure done by the end of the year. Anna, at the Greenway Plaza Office worked very hard to get me scheduled. She made several calls within the office and numerous calls to me to keep me updated. I have an appointment tomorrow morning because of Anna's hard work. I am so thankful for her had work and kindness!
Berkeley Eye Center makes everything from parking, surgery, annual check-ups and picking frames a breeze. Dr. Karlie Bonem is the best! All employees are very professional, courteous and helpful. The Optician, Michelle, who assisted me with selecting frames and filling my prescription was so well-informed on insurance and other costs. She was very professional, efficient, compassionate and courteous, helping to expedite the entire process, even saving me money while fulfilling my specific needs with night driving glasses. I cannot say enough good about this business and their entire staff. Thank you so much! Patricia V.
The best decision I have made!! Got LASIK 2 weeks ago and I can’t be happier. The staff and the doctors are all AMAZING especially Ashley she’s one of the best just so sweet and welcoming, they are all super nice and sweet and just overall very helpful with any questions you have. My experience was amazing, my surgery was quick, soon after I had perfect vision 😃. This location is just 10/10 they make you feel like family.
