This is a great breakfast spot. The ambience is eclectic with locals and nonnative alike. The service was stellar and Brian was most attentive. The food tasted better than the photos suggest. I would recommend the French toast because it was prepared with just enough time in the egg bath for the bread to soak up the goodness but not too long to become overly soggy.
We could not.have picked a better place for breakfast on our first morning in Buffalo. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. The serves was top knotch and the food was amazing. We were planning our next visit before we paid the tab. Truly a 5 🌟
What an amazing find! Betty’s is everything you want in a neighborhood cafe. Set in a Historic, character filled building. A menu that is traditional and creatively eclectic. John the waiter recommended the biscuits and chorizo gravy or the shrimp and grits. I opted for the gravy and biscuits which I never order. It was incredibly good. The sausage is made on site and the gravy is available for takeout. I am not sure when I will be back in town, but when I am, I will be back at Betty’s! Great food, great service, and an awesome setting! ❤️
Great fall mimosas 😋(vanilla cider). My breakfast was ok too! I’ve driven by this place for years and never really paid attention that it was a restaurant. Nice chill vibes. Would recommend this place and even return back ;).
Meh, I was not super impressed with Betty's. No reservations on weekends and they won't seat you until your whole party is there. A lot of people, so I'm sure the hostess was stressed and it definitely reflected in her attitude towards incoming guests. Service was pretty slow, but again, that's probably because it was busy. Portion size and price were decent, but the food was not great -- I tried the turkey hash and I would not recommend. The atmosphere was nice though, and I liked that we could get outdoor seating. First and probably last time visiting here.
