Marvin came on Tuesday to diagnose my heat pump and confirmed it was not working. He said he would return Wednesday to fix it. That was pushed to Thursday, then pushed again to Friday. On Friday, after multiple delays, I was told he could not come back until the following week. This left me with no heat going into the Christmas and holiday week. He then offered to come over the weekend, despite knowing this building well and knowing that contractors are not allowed on weekends. That was not a real solution, it was an empty offer made after days of missed commitments. At no point was another technician offered. No contingency plan. No urgency. Just repeated rescheduling followed by abandonment at the worst possible time of year. If you value reliability, honesty, or basic follow-through, do not use this company.
My heat pump died in the hottest days of July and I contacted Marvin at Beyond Cooling who was referred to me by another trades person after another company tried to gouge me. He found me an incredible high efficiency system at a great price, included the filter type and UV light that I wanted, and his team did an incredibly clean and professional installation. He also helped to process the BG&E rebate for the system and the warranty. I'm extremely grateful and pleased with Marvin's work and will continue to use him and the Beyond Cooling team to maintain my new heat pump. I couldn't recommend him more highly.
I booked online on Sunday, July 4th weekend. I received a response within an hour confirming my appointment. The very next day, we arranged a time according to my availability. Christopher was on time and had my issue resolved within 30 minutes. He waited another fifteen minutes to be sure that my air conditioning was working and the temperature was lowering. It was! And the price was right! This is the second time I've been a client, and I will use them again. I've already recommended Beyond Cooling to three other people. Thank you Beyond Cooling!
Marvin and his team installed my HVAC system a year ago. He is the most accommodating and helpful person I've worked with in a long time. He came back to help me troubleshoot afterwards and allowed me to reach out with any questions that I had post install. I highly recommend him for the quality of service AND the value of his product, which was in my budget!
I don’t even know where to begin describing how wonderful it was working with Marvin and his crew at Beyond Cooling. I’ll never call anyone else again! I reached out to multiple hvac companies over the summer, desperate to get a ducted system in our 1952 cape cod. Our summers were HOT and winters were cold. We were rolling with window AC’s in our home and it’s been rough. Finding anyone to reply quickly and kindly was difficult, except for Marvin. He replied the same day and was out quickly to do a detailed estimate and describe his suggestions. I was upfront with him that I had no idea how we could even afford it, but he still took his time with us and never once pressured us. He connected me with an incredible financing company so I can afford the payments and the process was really easy. He also referred me to a great company to get better insulation in my house that ended up paying for itself with rebates. The difference it all made is crazy! The week of install, the entire crew was polite and professional, cleaning up after themselves each day, and even put up with my barking dog. I could write pages on my positive experience with them, but I’ll just say, you seriously can’t go with anyone better than Beyond Cooling. Our house feels like a warm blanket now in these freezing temps!! I can already see my electric and gas usage has gone down on my BGE portal. Our upstairs rooms in our cape cod have been freezing every winter, but they are toasty and comfortable now. Thank you so much for this huge transition Beyond Cooling. Best decision ever!
