Big Star has been amazing. We had so many delays for when our house would be ready to receive the tub and they were very patient with us and let us keep it in their storage even though they didn't have a ton of space. Then when we finally got it set up, they were great about resolving an issue with it. I couldn't be more grateful to these wonderful folks.
We got to Big Star Backyard by mistake, and it has been the Best mistake we’ve made! From that initial visit to the end has been Excellent. Every single person we spoke to were friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable of their products. But what I like most about them was, they listened to your needs and sell you product that meets your requirements instead of just selling their products. They were always available to answer my stupid questions and not once did they made light of my questions. During delivery, they went out of their way to ensure my spa is delivered safely and they cleaned up after. They even helped me with something out of their goodness. I cannot say enough good things about this company and its people. I Highly recommend them, not only superior products but great customer service!! Give them a shot, you will not regret it. The guys who came to deliver the hot tub were great. The tech (Sebastian) was friendly and said not to worry we will have this down and ready for you to add the water in about 30 minutes. The jacuzzi itself is beautiful and the technicians who walked me through the post-install process were kind and communicative. Really quality guys with patience and respect. My original sales representative Brittany was responsive, encouraging and kind. The organization of this company leaves much to be desired. They had no plan on how to minimize damage to my property on the day of delivery and seemed unbothered by the damage left despite knowing what they were dealing with and completing a preliminary survey of the grounds months prior. I was transparent about the potential difficulties of my backyard from the beginning- they hardly attempted to contribute to making it an easier process. My contractor had to do more than his fair share of work on his end to ensure the proper install of my jacuzzi. The management team missed a scheduled appointment to discuss specifications for my delivery and failed to return phone calls multiple times. They also were inconsistent with their requirements and understanding of their own product. Had my contractor not been available to troubleshoot on the day of delivery, the company would have potentially done more damage than was able to be mitigated in real time. The owner/project manager also left the premises after delivery without even speaking to me or thanking me for my business. He comes across flippant and chaotic. For the price point (seemingly on the medium to higher end of the scale), I expected a much smoother process with better communication and contributions to the renovation. I would consider another company for more complex renovations and installs.
Only at beginning phase of repairs. So far it’s fine 9/172025 The control panels finally arrived from Canada and Adrian installed them and working nicely. I already knew how to use buttons from several YouTube reels. We went over how to access the 12 hour forced filtering access as I had forgotten. Main thing is good responses when calling the San Marcos store.
