I too thought that a $25 charge on my credit card was excessive for a simple self-serve wash. So I called the listed number a couple of weeks after visiting just to clarify and was told that I needed to push the stop button on the kiosk keypad after finishing the wash to prevent the machine automatically continuing service and overcharging. Somehow it hadn't clicked in my brain that I needed to do that when I finished washing the car. In any case, the gentleman I spoke with was very kind and offered to refund 1/2 of the price. Sure enough....I got an envelope in the mail a little later with $15 cash inside. Lesson learned: stop the machine if you don't want to be overcharged.🙂
Update: Automatic wash knocks the dust off, leaves a hazy unclean vehicle, and the dryers are almost useless. The owner typed a lot of words to blame the customer for not having a "clean" car to start with, even if it's just dust, before using his carwash and recommends just washing/waxing your car by hand instead. Thanks for the feedback, I will just wash/wax by hand from now on.
Best carwash in COS, super clean always hot water all year round prices are great. Jason is always there to help when you need it. the $45 monthly membership is so worth it i can wash my car 3x a week all month!
I visit this car wash once or twice a month because it has a decent auto touchless wash. Today I pulled into the automatic bay and began inserting cash for my usual wash plus blow-dry. The payment window timed out before I could finish adding funds, leaving me with just enough credit for the basic wash that doesn’t include the blower dry. On a scorching, sunny afternoon I really needed that blow-dry to avoid water spots, but the machine wouldn’t accept more cash. When I called the help number I reached the owner/management, who said there was nothing he could do and chuckled when I said that wasn’t helpful. He offered no refund, no free redo, no blow-dry appointment—nothing. It became painfully clear that there are no on-site attendants and no remote technology to override or manage the wash when it malfunctions. They just collect your money and send you on your way, whether the machine works or not. I left with my car covered in water spots and wasted time hunting down another wash to fix it. A business that won’t stand behind its own equipment or take care of it’s customers is not worth coming back to. Update/Response to owner: First of all, thank you for confirming that our conversation actually happened. Second, I did not hang up, I asked for help, you said there was nothing you could do, I replied “that’s not helpful”, you laughed, and the conversation was over. Lastly, calling me a liar? Really. You think that’s good business practice? I was not at the machine for five minutes, nor did I select the wrong wash. I come here regularly and know the lowest-level wash doesn’t include a blow-dry. I only spent a couple of seconds smoothing out a dollar bill before the machine auto selected the lowest wash. Everyone, notice the disingenuous apology at the start of his response and yet he still offered nothing to make things right. Not a genuine apology, nothing. He accuses me of either lying or not being able to insert money into a machine, laughable.
Don't bother. Paid $18 for their deluxe wash, got
