A beautiful vineyard in the Adelaide Hills making some amazing white wines. Their new oak Chardonnay is so smooth with the hint of new oak and the Sauv blanc is the ideal drink on a summer day. But my favorite experience is just sitting outside under the tree canopies admiring the beautiful landscape and artwork, sipping the Sauv Blanc and the cool breeze on a warm day. Not many places offer these type of experience.
Bird in Hand is simply a step above the rest! If I could rate the winery experience holistically, the cellar door experience, the divine and manicured gardens and terraces, the relaxed and welcoming aura, the ambiance and overall exquisite venue, the staffs attention to detail and graciousness and the feeling of wanting to stay sipping a divine glass of superb wine under the filtering sun of the shade trees MORE than a 5/5 I would! Our visit to Bird in Hand Winery was a definite highlight of our Barossa trip. As a Brisbane girlie who savours every sip of a Bird in Hand wine, you simply confirmed why your brand is top notch!!! Thankyou to your team!

Your comprehensive and masterful storytelling of the wines you shared with us truly captured our imagination and we really enjoyed your anecdotes and how personable and customised you made our experience! We’ll be back for sure and we hope we get to meet you again! The sparkling O, Nero, Syrah, Cab Sauv & Resiling were all must buys!
Food was delicious and we loved there were both meat and vegetarian options. Wine tasting was amazing - we loved the variety of wines. The venue is stunning and spacious. Service was excellent. We highly recommend and will be visiting again.
Great wine tasting experience here - tried the Nest Egg and Tribute tasting. Theresa was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Zero sales pressure but did come away with the stunning Nest Egg. Chardonnay and a Nero d’Avola. Gardens and site stunning and worthy of a visit unto themselves. We’ll be back 🥂🍷
