He took the time to listen to my ideas, explain the process, and make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The attention to detail and artistry in my tattoo is outstanding—it’s even better than I imagined. My wife and I had a great experience yesterday with Chris! Since this was my wife's first tattoo, we opted for an in-person consultation so she was as comfortable as possible. Chris was so warm and welcoming that we ended up getting our tattoos then and there! He was super professional, really thorough with his cleanliness, and the tattoos are exactly what we were looking for and SUPER CLEAN! Im absolutely returning for my next tattoo! P.s. the shop is super cool and very clean. The artwork is beautiful and there was some custom bags, purses, shirts, jewelry, and artwork for sale in the front of the store which was all beautiful as well!
Just got inked by J Michael, and I’ve got to say, he’s a tattoo wizard! This piece is a tribute to my brother, and J Michael put so much pride into every single detail—it’s like he knew my bro personally! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was hanging out with an old friend. J Michael turned my ideas into a stunning tattoo that I can’t stop showing off. Seriously, my arm has never looked this good! If you want a tattoo that’s not only amazing but also has a story behind it, J Michael is your guy. Can’t recommend him enough—he’s the best in the biz!
I can't say enough nice things about this place! Luckily they got me in on a previous cancelation. This was my third tattoo but by far the most work. Jay is a super nice guy who you can talk to about anything. He literally was my psychologist for 2 hours (sorry). Very personable. I felt very comfortable. SUPER clean, clear after care directions (also on website), and felt like I was with a friend. INFINITY STARS!
I highly recommend Black Amethyst Tattoo Gallery! I have been getting tattooed here for years by J. Michael. He’s done all my work and I refuse to go anywhere else. J. Michael’s line work, shading, and drawings are like none other. He takes his time to ensure straight lines and perfection. J. Michael is a color expert and always makes the design pop. This shop is very professional and personable, not to mention clean and well designed. If you’re looking for top notch work, I suggest you go to Black Amethyst. They are worth every penny!
