This place is the real deal! Blake is great, and the shop has a great vibe. I’ve been going for years and won’t change anytime soon.
Been coming here for over a year now, and it’s consistently great. The atmosphere is always spot on—cool music playing, sports on the TV, and all the barbers are genuinely cool Highly recommend booking with Blake. He’s super chill, really skilled, and he’ll definitely get you right every single time.
1 star for the barber and two for the shop itself. May try again with different barber but if your're going to charge double Sports Clips then the service should atleast be twice as better. A 1hr service done in 15 minutes flat. No products, no convo, no upsale, ZERO DETAIL. I should have known better but never again will I trust a barber who isn't even lined up himself. How are you gonna make me look fresh when you're lookin as rough as me? Store looked clean and nice, had refreshments but I was never offered one. This has become all too typical: make the barbershop look badass and put substandard barbers in there and charge high pricing for the location Nobody cares about all that store glam when they walk out $70 lighter with a $20 Fantastic Sam's cut for the next month.
I just moved to San Diego and needed a barber badly. A friend recommended Blake to me and I came into the shop on Friday. It's honestly one of the best haircuts I've ever had. He was quick, efficient and I left looking good as hell.
if you’re looking for a new barber then you gotta go see Blake at Blackmarket barbershop! I’ve been looking for someone that consistently does the best fade and I can honestly say I won’t be going anywhere else! He has the best attention to detail and the vibe of this place is super chill. I always leave with a fresh lineup
