0/5 Stars (if I could) I was recommended this by some close relatives. This was THE WORST meal I’ve ever had and that is not an exaggeration. Ordered the 20oz ribeye and what turned up wasn’t a ribeye steak at all, it was a pile of random offcuts full of fat, gristle and connective tissue. Out of the whole “20oz”, there were genuinely only a couple of mouthfuls of actual steak and the rest was completely inedible. There was also a weird lump/growth in the middle of it which made it even more disgusting. I attempted to eat it, but it was just wrong on every level. Photos do not even do it justice! I requested a replacement and the second steak came exactly the same, so it clearly wasn’t a one-off. On top of that it was nowhere near medium or medium rare, just overcooked and ruined. Absolute joke of a meal and nowhere near worth the money. This was meant to be my birthday meal and it ruined the whole night. Avoid.
Just been for a meal 14 adults all ordered large steak meals with sides all came out fresh hot and cooked perfectly in a fast time. Wow fantastic place to go if you like a nice big steak can't recommend this place enough. Hostest was also fantastic great fun and fantastic story's. Excellent place
Our party of 8 all had steaks different sizes and cuts. The food was exceptional.We go every Christmas and intend going back next year together. Thanks Paul Brown and the guys. With drinks and extras we all paid £50 each with sizeable tip included,
Wow what a nice surprise! Fantastic T-Bone steaks 10/10 really cooked to perfection. The lovely lady server had her hands full yet still friendly prompt service. Will definitely return!
Wanted a good steak grill restaurant so booked table for dinner at Black Salt for family. Located on busy Whitchurch road so parking is limited. The staff were friendly and welcoming, interior nice and comfortable. The menu consists of grilled steaks, chicken, burgers, fish. We ordered T Bone, ribeye steak and salmon. Kids portions are available on request. The steaks were big and delicious. The generous sides of chips and veg were good too, especially the battered cauliflower! Bill including drinks was around £75 which is very reasonable. Had a nice evening, service was great and we enjoyed the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
