The barista is very kind and friendly. The coffee is good. And nice pastries, homemade style. Hours are great too!
Great place to have coffee with your friend! They have plenty of bakeries and desserts. Especially I was surprised how much of everything they have by 6pm, because it’s almost only one cafe working till 9pm. Very friendly staff! Feels like they all knew there still, but they’re doing great! They’re specialize on coffee, but I wanted to get a tea because it was quite late. So I wouldn’t recommend to get a tea, they have basic grocery store tea, when I expected to have something more organic and different looking at the level of the cafe.. Maybe you guys should consider to bring different kind of tea, the cheapest one from the grocery store makes you look cheap now… and impression was down after that. Anyways We enjoyed it, and next time I’ll try their coffee, but I hope they will consider my concern. Thank you!
Everything is just okay; we had the chai, hot chocolate, almond croissant and banana loaf — the drinks were mediocre, food was kind of stale and the barista didn't know what kind of tea blend was used in the chai when I inquired about it (it tasted like your standard "chai tea latte"). The cafe is well designed with gorgeous high ceilings and art adorning the walls but my god is the lighting horrendously bright. Main plus side is it stays open later than all the other cafes in the area, but I probably wouldn't be back unless there's no other choice.
Even though I didn't have coffee (which is what they specialize in) I did still enjoy my matcha latte! I wish they had more milk alternatives besides lactose free and oat but at least lactose free didn't cost extra (whereas switching to oat is an extra $1). The matcha latte wasn't sweetened either so if you like them sweeter, make sure to mention it! I love the cafe set up and the fact that they have a cute little loft! I just love the layout of a loft, something about sitting there makes you want to crack open a book or study
Bono Coffee and Roasters has a cozy, welcoming environment that shows a lot of potential. The space is pleasant and the vibe is inviting. However, during my visit, there was only one barista managing everything. While she was doing her best and remained kind throughout, the wait time for orders was noticeably long. The food options were quite limited. I tried the lemon mousse, which wasn’t bad, but overall the variety and quality of pastries or food offerings could use some improvement. With a bit more attention to staffing and an expanded, more consistent food menu, this spot could really shine. I hope to see it grow into everything it has the potential to be.
