I have been training with Sean for just over a year now. It has been a fantastic experience; Sean is a great coach who takes a lot of care with all his students and really thinks about his coaching style and system. Really nice gym and a lot of fun!
Bowes has the literal best vibe of any gym I’ve trained at. Classes are well structured, everyone is friendly and polite regardless of your exp level. Sean really knows his stuff, he’s thoughtful but practical and has a great teaching style. Facilities are fab. Would definitely recommend PT too if you want to level up. 12/10 would recommend. 💜💥
I visited Sydney from Japan to spend New Year's Eve. I reached out to the gym via their website, and Sean replied to me immediately. Even though he was busy cleaning the gym, he welcomed me and gave me a 90-minute free training session at $35. The facility was very clean and well-equipped with a full-sized ring. Sean, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my training in Sydney! I highly recommend this place not only for locals but also for visitors who love boxing and want to train while traveling. Thank you very much Sean!
Training at Bowes Boxing was amazing, the gym is fully equipped to do a great workout. Sean is very attentive with the exercises. My husband and I traveled all way from Mexico to train here, totally recommended!
Bowes Boxing offers a genuinely impressive experience. I wondered about all the 5star reviews until I actually went there with my rookie 18 year old son. Sean is top class, obviously technically excellent at coaching and also totally on top of fitness, human movement and motivation for success, not just physically but also mentally and life skills. He has such a professional but nuanced approach to his clients and their individual needs. Even though his skills and techniques are so obviously high level he still had the genuine patience and person to person connection to spend uninterrupted one on one time with my son who is a total novice. His way of starting with the basics and adding simply step by step produced a solid end result in just a few sessions. I love his gym layout and good equipment, nothing too complicated just good quality and effective. I highly recommend Sean to anyone, beginner or expert - whether you love gym work or not, even if you aren't sure boxing is your thing- whether you are young or old, male or female, Sean will bring out your best you!!! He is someone who just has the gift to treat everyone as a super special individual. Love your work Sean, thank you
