Great experience now for both of my visits. Both times the results were great. In today’s visit, June did a stellar job with my first ever dip mani!
I’m so confused, I just got a gel manicure here yesterday and opted for a bright pink color. I woke up this morning and they turned yellow?? And faded?? They look like ombré now?? Look at that disgusting yellow spot! I used to do dip here and, like some reviews mentioned, they didn’t last / were actually breaking my nails / chipped or broke immediately. Gave the place a break, switched to gel in the meantime and tried again yesterday in a pinch. I’m done!
It's been tough finding a nail salon since my fave nail tech in Montclair moved. Rating this spot a solid 4. I decided to visit this spot before I traveled. I was seen by Yuki - who was very friendly. Got a pedi ($33) and a french manicured dip set (94). No one told me how long the dip takes! Anyway, the place is nice and clean. They played serene music and offered 3 minute massages. (Not sure if that depends on the service) Yuki was super sweet and kind. But 2 hours in, another nail tech took over to quickly finish the french manicured nails. However, I should warn anyone to please be sure to have enough cash. The ATM ran out of cash. And the woman who finished my hands outright asked me for her tip. Which, I thought, was distasteful and awkward. I will not return here. Without that last negative moment, it is overall a decent spot.
Disappointed with my experience here. I have gotten the Dip/SNS manicure there 3 times, each time from a different tech. This type of manicure is supposed to last 2-3 weeks, and it’s never even lasted me 2 weeks. Typically within 4-5 days after getting the manicure, I will start to notice cracks under the surface that eventually chip and break. After my most recent SNS manicure, I went back to have them fixed one week after getting them done, only to have them start cracking and chipping again within 1 day. I’ve never had a dip manicure that starts chipping so quickly at any other nail salon. Although the staff is very kind, I unfortunately will not be going back.
This was my first visit to this Salon and I will definitely be a regular customer. It was very clean and peaceful. All the ladies were very nice and welcoming. As a first time customer I received an 10% discount and a loyal card after 10 visits you get a free pedicure.
