I drove across the city from Inglewood and was set to arrive within the allotted grace period time. As I continued to drive, the time kept increasing which made me 7 minutes late. Someone texted me 6 minutes past and asked where I was, to which I replied that I had just parked. As soon as I walk in, the lady says she can’t take me even though it’s just a 15-minute appointment. She said I could return at 2:30, which was just shy of an hour. I didn’t want to wait that long because their parking was terrible and I had other things to do. I felt as if she lied about the waxer moving onto the next person so fast after I arrived. From what I’m reading, it seems as if they pick and choose who they extend grace to. Driving cross town wasting precious time and gas when I had more pressing things to do was not on my agenda. I also did not find her lecture about leaving an hour early to be helpful as LA traffic cannot be predicted or overcome by “leaving an hour early.” I will not be returning and it’s a shame because they had good ratings.
Ashley made my first visit to Brave Kitty enjoyable and comforting. I felt safe, seen, and cared for. When I had a request or asked questions, Ashley explained things clearly and deliberately to me. She treated me as if I was one of her closest friends, and that kind of heart belongs to someone I can support long-term. I will be back when I visit LA next time. Ashley deserved a raise and a promotion. She had the confidence, character, and the trust-worthiness to run her own shop!
First time back after a little over a year of not getting waxed. Let me tell you Ashely was great with the service and I already booked my follow up for the same reason. She was quick, gentle and made sure the process was smooth. Already booked my follow up for next month and picked up an exfoliating scrub. The space itself is such a great vibe and aesthetic is on point ! 10/10
I used to go to another waxer who didn’t clean up properly. When I got home, bits of paper towel literally fell off me. It was gross and unprofessional, and I never went back. Then I found BK and Marcela. She’s clean, respectful, and fast, but she does it right. You can tell she knows what she’s doing and actually cares about her work and making sure you’re comfortable. She’s made me trust the process again, and I’m very grateful for that. Thanks so much for the great work and service 🙏🏽🙌🏽.
Margaret Kelly has been such a lovely provider. I love the energy of this place when I come in. First time ever waxing and I was satisfied with my results. I really appreciate the format of the booking system - Makes for an informed session and that way I can focus on relaxing instead of talking through what I want done.
