Breka Bakery & Café never disappoints. Their coffee is consistently smooth, and the baked goods are top-notch, especially the cheesecakes and croissants. The space is clean, welcoming, and great for studying or catching up with friends. Open 24 hours, which is a huge bonus. Excellent value for the quality.
I love this bakery/coffee shop the first thing track. My attention was that they have a wooden box and a spoon. That’s very environmental. They have many many type of bakery, savory sweet cake. Plenty of seats accessible for handicap. Staff are friendly. I ordered eggnog latte with three shots of espresso and I had a raspberry muffin price is reasonable.
What a great place! Its open 24 hours, so when my friend and I had a late-night cake craving we were pleasantly surprised to see a 24 hr bakery! The shop is clean and open space. Lots of seating available. It is a very inviting atmosphere, there were a lot of people there. The vibe was great. They have 3 display cases of cakes, tarts, donuts, scones, sandwiches, wraps, cafe drinks... you name it! Everything appeared to be well prepared, fresh and very nice presentation. We got the Kahlua mousse cake, Strawberry shortcake, Tuxedo cake, and a Passionfruit white chocolate tart. We shared them throughout a couple days and the cake held up well in the fridge. The tart was so fruity & smooth with a perfectly crispy shell. Everything tasted nicely balanced in flavor, nothing was too sweet. The workers were attentive, approachable, and quick with service. What a lucky town to have a 24 hr bakery with quality munchies for late night snacks! I'm envious!
A unique experience. The Breka recipe baked goods along with the speciality desserts, pastries and donuts are fresh and delicious! I experienced the earl grey cream puff with a vanilla bean latte. Recommend thuroughly! Surprised there isn't drink and dessert pairing recommendations daily. The sandwiches are well displayed to highlight the freshness that comes with the experience. I will definitely be back to try lunch rather than this 3:30am experience. Also offer free drinking water while enjoying your experience!!!! A couple of plug in inside available for electronics. It's limited but there are a couple. I enjoyed my time at Breka 🤤! Love the tunes as well, aucustic coffee house feel for sure! Just a few blocks off Granville st. On Davie St. towards the beach.
Breka is one of my favorite spots for a quick bite or chill coffee break. I ordered the egg sandwich and a London Fog both were really good. The sandwich was warm, with soft bread and a tasty filling that felt freshly made. The London Fog had the perfect balance of tea and milk, not too sweet, just comforting. Prices are fair for downtown Vancouver, and the staff were friendly even when it was busy. Great place to relax, study, or meet a friend.
