Attempted to purchase 3 tickets to see Moulin Rouge, what a joke. Broadway Sacramento clearly caters to customers that can afford to purchase group tickets(later to sell what they won't use at an enormous price)! I was on the site to purchase exactly when available to find out there were NO two or three seats available together on any day. I cannot afford to spend over $1000 plus on three tickets. So I guess the shows that you offer are for the wealthy. Thanks
Broadway Sacramento always delivers an incredible theater experience! The productions are high-quality, with amazing performances, stunning sets, and great sound. The venue is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Whether it’s a musical or a play, every show feels magical. A must-visit spot for live entertainment in Sacramento!
Saw West Side Story there last night. It was my first time there, and it was a great experience and show! Loved the circular seating, which gives everyone a great seat. The stage is small, which had me wondering how they would be able to do such an iconic dance musical. They used the stage, high platforms and the aisles used to reach the seats! With aisle seats the actors rushed past and when a scene was over in the dark props were changed. Not that there were a lot of props. The perfect amount. I heard from a couple whose granddaughter was in the play that this was only being shown in Sacramento. They came from Arizona to see her. She is going back to New York since this show is over. I'm very curious how this theater works now. Since I wondered at the start how a show could adapt to a round stage/theater. Definitely a good evening and looking forward to going again!
My daughter is doing an internship at Broadway Sacramento at Music circus. My mom and I went out to see her in action. Fiddler on the roof was amazing! Such a nice round stage theater.
Enjoyed a great production of "The Music Man" on a Wednesday evening and there were very few empty seats. The round stage affords everyone a good experience and now I know which seats to look for the next time for the best view. But the way they used all four ramps to the round stage that moves and a large company of very talented players was really good. Very clever set pieces and a hustling stage crew did a good job and I was immersed in the story the whole time. All of the players performances were exciting and stirring and the young people were especially amazing. We were 3 rows behind the orchestra pit so that was an added show within the show! Costumes were really well done and the sound system was excellent. Parking was a breeze right across the street and we enjoyed Nachos and 3 tacos at nearby Chandos just before the show. Very possible I will become a season ticket buyer if I can get the right seats!
