If you’re looking for a cultural gem in the heart of Buffalo, the Buffalo Art Museum is an absolute must-visit! We recently spent an afternoon there, and it was a truly enriching experience for our entire family. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted by a beautiful, welcoming space filled with an impressive collection of artwork that spans centuries and styles. The museum’s layout is both intuitive and inviting, making it easy to explore the various galleries at our own pace. Each room felt like a new adventure, revealing a diverse array of masterpieces that sparked our imaginations. One of the highlights of our visit was the contemporary art exhibit. Buffalo Arts Studio (BAS) currently hosts a diverse group of approximately 30 artists in residence. These artists are selected based on their creative practice, commitment to the community, and their reflection of regional demographics. Artists at BAS have access to a range of facilities, including a ceramics studio, communal workspace, and a kitchen, and they benefit from affordable studio spaces designed to support their ongoing work. The studio also encourages artists to participate in their Annual Studio Artists Show, serve as teaching artists, and engage in collaborative community projects. Un espace d'événements vraiment sympa et un studio d'art caché dans le Tri-Main Building. Je suis vraiment content de l'avoir découvert; si vous cherchez à organiser un événement ou à vous impliquer davantage dans la communauté artistique de Buffalo, c'est définitivement un endroit à découvrir. Ils proposent des cours pour la communauté et beaucoup d'artistes ici ont des espaces ouverts que vous pouvez venir visiter. Le groupe organise également deux grands événements, l'un est Trimania qui aura lieu dans quelques semaines et l'autre est Plates & Pasta qui se déroule ce week-end. Il y a ici un événement le quatrième vendredi, généralement une ouverture d'exposition d'art à laquelle M&T aide à mettre en place. Si vous souhaitez vous impliquer davantage dans la communauté artistique de Buffalo, le Buffalo Arts Studio est à ne pas manquer. C'est un espace magnifique, niché au cinquième étage du vaste bâtiment Tri-Main.
