Great place for art workshops, an art gift shop with items by local artists, and an art gallery. I always feel welcome here by the folks at Button Factory Arts.

I have attended several classes at the Button Factory, all workshops on Saturday afternoon. It is such a great time slot for a working person and offers enough time to dig in and complete the class with a finished piece of artwork or craft. The recent class in pastel was especially well done and has given me the basics for a new medium. Grateful!
We had the most amazing experience celebrating our wedding at Button Factory Arts in Waterloo. They were personable, kind and extremely helpful in creating a memorable day for us and our guests and we cannot thank them enough for their efforts. The exposed brick walls, tall ceilings, and large windows filled with natural light create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It felt like the perfect mix of elegance and intimacy, with every inch of the venue offering a stunning backdrop for photos. Our guests were constantly commenting on how beautiful the space was, and we couldn’t agree more. But beyond the venue’s physical beauty, it was the incredible staff that truly made our wedding unforgettable. From our first visit to the venue to the day of the wedding, the Button Factory team was so kind, supportive, and attentive. They were always ready with helpful suggestions, while also respecting our vision and ideas. We never felt rushed or overwhelmed – they made sure everything was taken care of, so we could relax and enjoy every moment. Their professionalism and dedication to making our day perfect shone through at every step. The flow of the day was seamless. The layout of the venue worked beautifully for our reception, allowing for a smooth transition from one part of the celebration to the next. We were able to personalize the space exactly how we envisioned, and it felt so special to see everything come together. Button Factory Arts created an environment that reflected who we are as a couple. We also loved that Button Factory Arts is such an integral part of the local arts community in Waterloo. We have done lots of events here over the years. But i can't tell you how happy i am that they finally have an elevator. Carrying equipment up those stairs was scary. Way better now.
