I love that they have blended lattes with all different flavours. We tried the salted caramel blended latte and the coconut blended latte, both were very good. And the workers were very kind! Cute atmosphere too!
Excellent coffee shop in the heart of St-Roch district. We found this little gem by wandering along St-Joseph street. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Their coffees are deliciously brewed. There’s also a very decent selections of premium teas. My daughters LOVED their milk shakes and cookies. It is also dog friendly. Competitive prices for the quality of coffees, 10x better than Starbucks! Staff bilingual and very courteous. Highly recommend! [Update August 2025]: We returned to this place and they delivered again! Coffee good as always and the smoke salmon sandwich made with perfection, every single element was done right: the bagel, the smoked salmon, the cream cheese and capers and onions, just meticulously prepared. Bravo to the team! While it’s sad to see the declining retail industry in this neighborhood, I was relieved to see Cafe Pekoe alive and well.
Café with a few vegan options and limited gluten-free options. I had the dragon bol with tofu which is vegan and without the fried wonton it is gluten-free. It was good, but the portion size was small. I think double the quinoa would have been better. My partner had the banh mi with veggie paté and liked it, but it would have been nice if the veggie paté would have been warm. The pastry options offer quite a few vegan options including brownie, financier, two cookies and a berry square. There was also a chocolate energy ball that was vegan and gluten-free. My partner ordered the financier and brownie. The financier was quite good and not too sweet. The brownie was more cake like, but still good. The service was a bit slow. They bring it at the table when you eat in, but it took 10 to 15 min to get our salad and sandwich. For a cafe style take out place, it feels a bit long, but we did come at rush hour and they made every order to serve instead of prepping in advance. The decor was nice, and a lot of places to sit and even a few tables outside. They had an extensive drinks menu which we did not test this time, but it looked quite good.
Really good selection of tea here, with a ton of options to choose from. The tea is really nice and high quality. There's a ton of food options. The banh-mi isn't really a banh-mi though, more of a regular sandwich on soft bread with some pickled vegetables. The outdoor seating area is really nice though, and the staff are absolutely fantastic.
We came here for a quick morning coffee, and a snack. We tried the carrot muffin and I got a cup of filtered coffee. The baked goods were extremely delicious and the coffee was good too. They have a lot of seating with the large benches for families and they have some smaller tables. They also have a space for you to sit and work with Wi-Fi and electrical outlets. The staff is really helpful and they speak both English and French. I like the space a lot and would definitely recommend a visit.
