Staff was nice so they get 2 stars. Original Campbells landscaping job was done poorly so they came back and “fixed” it. Instead of actually fixing the drainage issue and leveling out our yard they made a trough in the backyard. Initial job was in June and was “fixed” at the end of September after many phone calls.
Visited on a rainy Saturday afternoon so it was very quiet and the outdoor trees looked a little sad. However, the plants in the greenhouse looked so lush and happy, and we left with some orchid pots. There is also the sweetest lil' black cat named Munchkin who came to greet me and made my day. 🐈⬛
I came here around 4:30 on 11/16 and had such an amazing experience. A gentleman helped me find the perfect shrubs for my home and was incredibly knowledgeable. He helped me carry them back inside, got me a cart, and then helped me load them into my car. Such a kind person, and it means more than he could ever know! It was my first time at Campbell’s nursery, and I definitely will use them again in the future!
There honestly is no point in going to a home improvement store for plants. I have done so, and have had to replace plants. For roses, there is no better store. The costs per plant is the same or less than home improvement stores, but the quality of the plants are not comparable. If you are fixing your house...go to a place the specializes in that. If you are buying plants, do the same. Yes you can get great plants elsewhere; however, you may be let down later by their longevity.
Talked to Tim the other day about a Gatsby Star Oak Leaf Hydrangea I purchased last fall. It is now in bloom and is instead a Gatsby Gal- it was mislabeled. I asked if I could bring in the plant in its original pot along with the receipt so he could remedy mistake they made but he told me not to bother as there was nothing he was willing to do for me. I was contacted last night by Cassie after reading my original post and she apologized for the way the situation was handled. She assured me that was not the quality of service that Campbells would approve of. She is replacing the mislabeled hydrangea I purchased with the correct one today. Thank you Campbells and Cassie for taking the time to listen to me and for making this right.
