Carissa was a godsend. I booked the package that had one month out planning and coordination on the day. Carissa went above and beyond with the planning part - liaising with all our vendors without needing to involve me (which I loved) but checked in and kept me posted along the way. Her expertise and experience in the industry was invaluable. She is very organised and put me completely at ease from day 1, and offered great suggestions along the way. On the day itself, she was amazing. It was so great not having to get our friends and family to do any of the running around - they could just enjoy the day with us. Carissa managed everything so amazingly on the day. 100% recommend.
We first engaged Canberra Event Management & Styling after meeting Carissa nearly two years out from our wedding day. The entire duration of our wedding journey Carissa was always just an email away offering her expert advice and opinion. She was incredibly patient with us, as we changed our minds on colours and theming multiple times along the way. On the big day, the support provided by Michael and Ivonne from the team was simply outstanding, as they went above and beyond. They were both never more than a few steps away, and they ensured everything ran smoothly, from providing us with plates of food, to holding champagne glasses while we had photos taken, to fluffing my dress between photos - we were truly so surprised and impressed!! We’re so grateful to Carissa and her team at Canberra Event Management & Styling for all their support, patience and expert advice. We would recommend her team to anyone planning an event, as you will be delighted by their professionalism and support.
Carissa is the best ! She made the wedding planning process easy and our actual day perfect! She is a dream to work with in the planning process and had excellent contacts and experience within the wedding industry which she draws on to make sure you only get the best providers. She is prompt with her communication and makes herself available to you especially in that couple of weeks leading up to the wedding when things start to get hectic. Her styling was perfect and she was able to achieve our vision - even though I didn't give her much to work with with my initial brief reading something like "I want it to be relaxed, fun and pretty". She looked after me on the wedding day and ensured everything went off without a hitch. I was stess free ! Carissa and her team helped us with both the planning of our wedding day and all event management activities on the day, including venue setup. We worked really closely with Carissa in the lead-up to our big day, and she was wonderful. She was always quick to respond to our many questions, happy to work with us to incorporate design elements that we liked, and eminently professional in all of her dealings with us.
