Mike and his team honestly worked wonders. We’re straight forward, and totally informative. The turnaround time for my truck was also impressive. He told me a price and stuck to it. Mike Notated little things that he saw wrong as well and didn’t try to sell me on it, told me since I can work on vehicles how easy the things were and said it’s worth it for me to do it unless I don’t have the time. This is the first time iv ever had a vehicle in a shop to be repaired and he made it worry free. Thank you and your team over there. Rebuilt transmission, new torque converter and new transmission pump. 10/10 would recommend.

Mike and capital transmission is the only transmission shop in sac I will go to. They are honest, reliable and reasonable! Mike will tell you the truth and even offer a warranty! What shop does that?! I’ve brought capital transmission at least 10 different trucks over the last 20 years and referred friends and family. You can’t go wrong with Capital Transmission
Mike is a nice guy and his prices are great. He did good work for me and worked within my needs. He stands by his work and covered some warranty repairs for me after I moved out of state! Stand up guy.
The shop has good pricing; Mike works hard to find deals on parts and passes the savings on to you. Unfortunately, my transmission failed after being rebuilt. Mike is honoring a warranty, but the damage happened on 3/15/2020. It is now 10/1/2024 and Mike still hasn't worked on the transmission. It is under warranty and will be fixed when he gets to it. First, the problem was COVID made it hard to find parts, now he is just looking for the parts and "can't find" what is needed. To be fair, the transmission for a 2nd generation 4Runner is different (it includes the transfer case) and it may be difficult to find parts, but four years is too long to look.
