Always a great visit. Have been patients here for over 25 years. Have been to one other vet in that time, Cardiff Vet Hospital won. Great service, compassionate vets and nurses, always welcoming and always clean. We will never go to another, even if we moved away!
My local vet wasn't open on a Sunday, so I came here at 8am with a cat that needed euthanasia. Everyone was so kind and helpful, they offered sympathy, photos, paw prints and as much time as I needed. I couldn't fault the kindness and compassion the staff offered in an emergency.
My daughter’s dog was hit by an e-scooter today and we immediately rushed down to Cardiff vets where they instantly stopped what they were doing and served my daughter. The vet came out and had a Quick Look at Honey straight away and then went and got the room ready to look at her. All of the staff there were taking the time to help reassure my daughter who was in the middle of a panic attack. They were absolutely amazing. So kind and genuinely caring. The vet assessed honey and then allowed my daughter to use the sink to clean herself up and get all of the blood off her while they took honey out the back to have a closer look. Honey ended up getting some stitches and spending an hour under observation before returning home. My daughter is 13 and covers all expenses for her dog and they did everything they could to make it affordable for her while still giving Honey all of the care that she needed. I honestly cannot say anything that even comes close to expressing how truely thankful my daughter and I are for these wonderful, beautiful, incredible ladies. Every last one of them.
My Rhodesian Ridgeback is now nine years old and has been under the care of Dr. Andrew Cornwell for her entire life. The service provided—from booking and reception to each consultation—has consistently been professional, friendly, and effective. Dr. Cornwell and his team are knowledgeable, compassionate, and trustworthy. I have every confidence in recommending their care to anyone seeking the highest standard of veterinary service. Ela said woof too.
Dr Carolyn was amazing. She was very gentle and patient while treating our dog who gets anxious and irritable. She's also very knowledgeable. We've also had good experiences with all the other vets at this place. Would definitely recommend coming here for your pet.
