I was so excited to be surprised by my significant other and friend for my birthday dinner here! I had been eyeing this restaurant for quite sometime. We started off at the bar as our table wasn’t quite ready- The bartender despite being extremely busy acknowledged us but took the menu from a different patron who was seated at the bar—- if looks could kill this lady would have committed murder against my friend! I mean, taken someone’s menu from them wasn’t the best choice for the bartender to do…. Drinks were made within 15min. Unfortunately it was the worst dirty vodka martini I had ever had. When our table was ready a very dapper male came to gather our drinks, and reported he would bring the ticket to the table as we were led to our table. The table was tiny. As said, there were three of us and planned to try multiple things on the menu. By the time the salsa and chips were on the table there wasn’t even room for 3 dishes. Unfortunately, as our plates were delivered the servers were stuck trying to Tetris the plates and unfortunately took the salsa and chips without asking and before we ate them— The game of Tetris continued the entire night and really ruined the experience. We found ourselves stuffing food in so that there would be room for other dishes without being able to actually enjoy them. The drinks were ok but not anything special sadly. The sushi was good and our servers recommendations were helpful. We did get one roll with seaweed wrap which one of the diners has a strong aversion to. Overall I was pretty sad about the experience. I would hope to have a better dining experience as it really seems this place could be a solid. The only other comment is it is quite loud. I was a little disappointed that nothing was done special for the birthday but I really wasn’t expecting it. All in all not the best, definitely expected better. Probably would give a 3-3.5
Everything was so amazing. We went this last weekend. Food service and decor was outstanding. Jimmy such a talent and our waitress Leah so kind and very on top of everything. Somalia I forgot his name but so nice and knowledgeable
Casa Brasa delivers an exceptional all-around experience. From the moment you walk in, the décor sets the tone—elevated, warm, and thoughtfully designed. The food is outstanding across the board, beautifully presented and full of bold, well-executed flavors. Service was attentive, polished, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire evening feel seamless. And just when you think the night couldn’t get better, the speakeasy after dinner is a total hit—perfect vibes, great energy, and an ideal way to end the evening. Casa Brasa truly nails food, atmosphere, and hospitality. Highly recommend.
The food was absolutely delicious. It tastes like you’re eating tacos in the heart of Mexico and the sushi was even better. Worth every penny. The music is not too loud before 5 and the service was top notch. We got chili hama (absolutely indescribable), spicy negi, toro roll, casa brasa roll, chu-toro sashimi, charred grilled oysters, ribeye tacos, hazelnut dessert and cappuccino. It was truly one of the best food best experiences I’ve had
Chef Omar and Chef Jimmy Duke have once done it again! I was a bit skeptical about a the Latin American x Japanese crossover but all the dishes and flavors were spot on! The delicate flavors of the fresh fish and sauces complimented each bite so wonderfully. The Red snapper Ceviche, Hokkaido Scallop Aquachile, Toro Tartare, and Mexican Fattoush were our absolute favorites. The service was also immaculate. Alyssa, our server, was so attentive and knowledgeable as well as the whole staff. We felt so appreciated and cared for by the staff unlike any other restaurant. Will definitely be back!
