Been here countless times and this place never disappoints. The food and service are always on point. This time we were taken care of extremely well by Jose, Tej, and Ella! Great anniversary dinner! Jose got us free dessert! Can’t wait to come back again! :))))
We were hungry and this restaurant certainly filled our tummies! Delicious, tasty meats (beef & chicken choices) And that salad bar, cheeses, veggies, good choices and everything you can imagine - it was there. You must try the spicy glazed bacon & don't pass on the grilled cheese bites and have them drizzle with honey...OMG amazing! But what makes a good restaurant is the service...the service was spot on and everyone was so friendly, attentive, and helpful! Highly recommend and come hungry ~ you and your appetite will not be disappointed!
The location is where there was a Mimi's. I had the salad bar for lunch. Everything was good except for the salmon on cucumber - too fishy and no smoky taste. The cooked bacon was okay - it was too sweet. I prefer my bacon as is and crispy. Too bad Casa Do Brazil did not have both. It would have been nice if they did. The rest of the food was great - especially the sweet fried bananas, mashed potatoes and the yucca fries. The Brazilian cheese bread was a bit salty for my taste. Other than that, the service was exceptional. I felt like I was lunching at The Four Seasons. The salad bar is definitely worth the $19.50 price.
I took my mom here for her birthday and it was honestly the perfect choice. From the food to the service to the drinks, everything was really, really good. They have different options, from the full experience to an executive one, which is what we chose (with about 8–9 types of unlimited meat). The salad bar is amazing and everything was super fresh. They brought us pão de queijo (the famous Brazilian cheese bread) and some fried yuca to start. Then they came around with the different meats and EVERY single one was delicious, perfectly cooked, juicy and seasoned just right. They even had grilled pineapple, which I loved. We ordered caipirinhas and they were the best I’ve ever had so far in Austin. The passion fruit one was incredible. This place definitely stole my heart. They even surprised my mom with a complimentary dessert for her birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was amazing. I’d 100% come back!
We had become disenchanted with Brazilian themed restaurants after bad experiences in Orlando and downtown Austin, but now our faith has been restored after a meal at Casa do Brasil. We had a delicious meal with excellent service and pleasant wine by the glass for my wife’s birthday. The salad bar is incredible. A comprehensive selection of charcuterie, cheese and salad so you can create your personal antipasto. Be careful, it’s easy to overdo it, you must leave space for the selection of meats that will be offered to you by the meat waiters. When you are ready, turn your table disc over so the green side is up and within moments sirloin and filet mignon and sausage and lamb chops and shrimp, pork or chicken will be brought to your table. Try one, try them all. And supplement the meats with mashed potatoes and fried plantain that are left on your table. It’s a meal fit for a king. And if you have any space left there is also dessert. We shared a complimentary flan (with a candle for the birthday) that was also delicious. It’s moderately expensive, our brunch for two with three glasses of wine was $141 before tip, but it’s worth it. The tables and chairs are comfortable, the sound levels are moderate so you can hold a conversation without raising your voice and the rest rooms are clean and well maintained.
