Whitney was our coordinator for our wedding in October and I cannot recommend her and Christina Burton Events enough!! She was so helpful in the leadup to the wedding day answering any questions we had, being the go between person for us and our vendor team, ran the entire day seamlessly on top of consistently checking in on us throughout the planning process and especially throughout our wedding day. I was able to fully let go of all control the moment the rehearsal dinner was underway and was able to be fully present and just enjoy my wedding day thanks to Whitney taking care of everything behind the scenes. Not only did she handle our entire vendor team but she also was able to keep control over both my husband and I's very loud and very opinionated extended family members lol. One thing we had stressed was our private last dance being truly private and she managed to clear an entire ballroom in less than a minute despite multiple people trying to protest that they wanted to say goodbye "just really quick!" prior to us having our final dance. It was the most perfect day, and it truly could not have happened or gone any better without Whitney there!
Wow wow wow. What can I say? Christina Burton Events made our wedding so seamless and I don’t know what I would’ve done without them! Sarah was our coordinator and she understood our vision from day one. She was on top of everything and it took so much stress off my plate. I came with a lot of questions and Sarah was able to answer them all and more. She had great recommendations for vendors I didn’t even think about, such as audio services. Sarah checked in often and was so empathetic when I needed to vent about something I was overwhelmed about. She truly stepped up and made me feel like a VIP. She was wonderful with my family and super patient when it came to directing everyone during our rehearsal for ceremony. She truly alleviated my stress the night before, even taking some ribbon off my hands that needed to be cut last minute for the reception. Day of coordination made everything move effortlessly. We had to flip the lawn from ceremony seating to dinner seating during cocktail hour. My husband is still talking about how it felt like magic. We looked out the window one moment, and the next, dinner was set! Even when the weather changed on us, Sarah and her team were able to make quick changes and our guests were none the wiser. Truly the most beautiful, magical day and it could not have been done without Christina Burton Events. Worth every penny and so much more! I cannot say enough good things. I was an anxious bride and these girls worked their magic.
Review for Alexia – 100/10 Experience 💛 Where do I even start? Alexia was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. She was always on top of everything, from reaching out to all my vendors, confirming details, tracking payments, and making sure my vision came to life exactly as I imagined. She even went to the rental company in person to check linen swatches because she didn’t trust the colors from the photos. That’s how dedicated she is! She created detailed timelines, including one for hair and makeup that she shared with the team, and she was there for our rehearsal making sure everyone knew what to do. She even texted me the week of the wedding to check in and make sure I was feeling okay. I have never worked with someone so talented, organized, capable, kind, and warm. I have been to many weddings and met many planners, and I have heard plenty of horror stories, but Alexia was hands down the best. On the wedding day, she checked in on both the bridesmaids and groomsmen, made sure we were taken care of, and handled everything so flawlessly that I never once felt stressed. I felt stressed about time, but she always assured me we were always ahead of schedule, and her poise and composed demeanor calmed me down. I wish I could do it all over again to work with her one more time. She made our day unforgettable, and I will never forget that.
Where to even begin. I think to start off I’d like to say here what I had told all of my friends and family over the past year when I was I was asked about wedding planning. 1. Purchasing a full service wedding planner was by far the best money we spent during the whole wedding process. And 2. I couldn’t stop telling people how amazing Grace was. The exact phrase I kept repeating was, I feel like if I asked for the moon, Grace would figure out a way to give it to me. That really sums up the type of planner Grace is. If you tell her your dream, she’ll work tirelessly to make it happen and will also make you laugh and smile along the way. When we first met with Grace to plan our Louisville wedding I was immediately struck by how warm, kind, and patient she was. Since we were planning our wedding from California we were a little nervous about the logistics of it all but Grace was there to catch us at every turn. I can’t count the number of emails I have in my inbox I wrote to her (usually in the dead of night) titled “random questions” with about 10 bullet points of random, unrelated wedding details. Grace responded to them all - usually within a day, and usually with smiling emojis and her signature warmth and sparkle. The actual wedding day was absolutely perfect. Seriously. No notes. Absolutely. Perfect. And a HUGE reason is because of Grace. From directing us at rehearsal, to lugging all my random wedding decorations to the venue for me, to “gently” helping me let my mom know that we probably didn’t want the 12 foot tall balloon arch, she really did it all. When my husband and I are 90 years old and wrinkly and almost senile, we’ll be able to look back and smile at our perfect late summer wedding underneath the trees. Grace didn’t just plan our wedding, she hand stitched together a string of memories that will live in a warm corner of my mind for the rest of my life. I cannot recommend Grace or Christina Burton events enough. Thank you 🥹
Meredeth was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Even as a day-of coordinator, she went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed throughout the entire wedding process. Her organization, calm demeanor, and attention to detail made such a difference in making everything run smoothly. She truly held everything down during both the rehearsal and on the wedding day itself. I didn’t have to worry about a thing because I knew she had it handled. Not only is she incredible at what she does, but she also has such a beautiful spirit and warm presence that made working with her an absolute joy. I can’t thank her enough for making our wedding day as stress-free and beautiful as it was. If you’re looking for someone who will care about your big day as much as you do, Meredeth is the one!
