Ciao Italia provides an overall excellent dining experience for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian food. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the food is fresh and high-quality (the chicken offerings, Prosciutto pizza and Funghi Pasta are standout favorites), and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Will definitely be coming back.
We had a really nice evening at Ciao Italia tonight. We ordered bruschetta to start, followed by carbonara, gorgonzola, pescia and chicken parmegana. Everything was excellent. The house wine was also great. The service was friendly and funny, with multiple jokes being made which we really appreciated. Grazie mille!
We visited Ciao Italia on Dec 31st and had a good time. As for service, our servers were nice and efficient, providing a nice atmosphere. I had the carpaccio as an appetizer and the calabrese pizza as a main. My partner got the calamari for appetizer and seafood risotto as a main. We wanted to order dessert and asked if they had any dairy-free options, which was a no. As a fine dining establishment, some alternatives should be offered. Overall, food was quite good. Ciao Italia Team, I was strongly disappointed that you are still offering multiple USA wines on your menu (at least 5). Canadian have been actively supporting our economy even more during the past year or so, please support our Canadian vineyards rather than American producers. We ordered a bottle of Italian Valpolicella Ripasso and then things started to take a turn, the bartender came to open the bottle, and stayed for about 3 minutes (it takes me about 20-25 seconds). He was having difficulties opening it and then interjected in our conversation as he probably felt a little awkward. He poured the wine and stained the tablecloth a few times. Wine was too warm. We all learn, however, the restaurant claims itself to be fine dining, while it is true food wise, service must be on par with the food offered.
OMG, the best Italian in town! Ciao Italia is such a cozy spot with amazing service. The owner is such a nice guy and really thoughtful. My absolute favorite is the Chicken Parmesan, it’s out of this world! We got a few other dishes too, and everyone loved them! Highly recommend this place!
We visited Ciao Italia to celebrate our engagement anniversary, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience! We ordered the Vegetarian Arrabbiata pasta and a vegetarian pizza, and honestly, it was one of the best vegetarian meals we’ve ever had. The flavors were absolutely perfect — rich, fresh, and delicious in every bite. We also ordered some drinks, which we’d rate around 4/5, and ended the meal with their tiramisu, which was simply amazing — light, creamy, and the perfect sweet note to finish our celebration. Though the restaurant space felt a bit compact, the ambiance was cozy, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a perfect dinner for a special occasion. Our total came to around $100 for food and drinks, and it was totally worth it. Highly recommend Ciao Italia to anyone looking for great vegetarian options and a warm dining experience!
