I was looking for a chicken Ceasar wrap and this hit the spot!! The chicken was well seasoned, warm and delicious! The wraps look smaller in some other pictures on the reviews but they're not!! Half a wrap was enough for a meal for me, with some fries, which were crispy, seasoned and delicious!! The garlic aioli was great too. The wrap was on the dryer side, but I got extra dressing on the side and it was perfect! It was my first time there and I will definitely be back!
Great food and service. Fresh bread, generous portions for the hot sandwiches. Seating is limited so plan accordingly.
This place was a last minute find. Arrived to SD a little later than expected, we stayed at a hotel across the street. Looked out my hotel window and saw cloud 9. Went there on the fly and it turned out great. Quality meats for the sandwiches, great tastes and filling sizes of dishes. They range from breakfast to dinner foods and along with beer and wine options to drink make it a plus. I will be coming back again with a little more time to look over the menu and try something new. Staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Hands. Down. Best. Deli. The food - superb. Service - out of this world. Location was perfect for us across the street at the hotel, and the hours are 8 to 8 so great for a snack or a full meal. Truly sad to leave SD and this place behind. Thank you, Stephen and staff, for taking such good care of us! Get the bagel and lox! Get the smoothies! Try the desserts! Enjoy the beer selection!
Cloud 9 is a fantastic deli that offers great value. I stopped by for lunch with coworkers, and the menu was full of tempting options. I went with the meatball hero and was thoroughly impressed—it was hearty, cheesy, and packed with umami flavor. The meatballs tasted homemade; they weren’t perfectly round and had a looser texture, which made them stand out from the typical frozen or overworked ones. Overall, the quality and portion size were excellent for the price. I’ve paid much more elsewhere for far less, so this was a pleasant surprise. I left full, happy, and already looking forward to coming back to try more dishes.
