Just had my first session, it's nice inside. Alot smaller than i expected. There's ALOT of Equipment missing you'd expect in a normal gym for example I couldn't see/find a Cable machine for Tricep extensions/Pushdowns. Overall for my first session I think it's a good gym for the location but the Price point is a bit high for expectations in my opinion.
Tried this gym out with a free day pass and was very impressed. Has a good set of equipment with friendly staff and members, the gym also has perfect lighting and a more down to earth and laid back feel than more popular gyms.
I've been going to this gym for 6 years now. I've dotted about flats in the City Centre and Dennistoun and have always kept this as my home gym. This is the sort of gym you can go to at any time and get everything done; it's never too busy. I miss this gym when I'm not in Glasgow. The equipment is awesome. I've seen two refreshes since I've been a member, and the Primal equipment is quality. From a biomechanical perspective, you couldn't ask for anything better. Being an engineer, I follow a science-based gym routine and I achieve a lot of gains in this gym; it has everything for optimal hypertrophy. If you compare it to a warehouse gym or a Pure gym it is relatively small, but I prefer quality over quantity. It has everything you need, everything is well maintained and like I said, the equipment is top notch. It's got a really good community feel to it. The staff are exceptional, the members are friendly; everyone is here to better themselves and support one another along the way. The fact that they've expanded from one to three gyms in Glasgow is a true testament to their success.
Got the day pass and no issues. Quick show around by one of the staff and away we go. They also kindly looked after my travel bag in office . Well equipped gym with everything you need and more. Staff are on hand to help out and very friendly. Would recommend.
Joined a few weeks back. Super impressed. The staff are exceptional here... I’ve worked with two different PT’s now and both are fun, really drive you and super knowledgeable. The gym itself looks amazing. It’s spotless, love the low key lighting, has a perfect balance of machines for all exercises. Love the app which links to ‘My Fitness Pal’ and the initial weigh in. I’ve been a member of 5 gyms I. My life, this city centre gym is the best I’ve been a member of. Great packages. A great location. Great staff.
