My daughter has been learning with Isabelle for one year, and I can see her progress every time when she terminates her course. The teacher is really kind and professional with the children and I highly recommand.
Great school, Nicolai is an excellent teacher who explains well and allows you to use your own creativity at the same time learning to draw classically. As for the students everyone encourages each other. All critiques are done from a positive eye from teachers and students. I always look forward to my Monday classes. keith West student
I can't believe how lucky I was to participate in the last 2 sculpture workshops. The teacher, Marcello Giorgi made all the difference. My skills, and appreciation of sculpture improved with each hour of these workshops. I never expected a teacher of such high caliber and pedigree, right here in Montreal (!). He inspired us with his passion and dedication not only to his art, but his dedication to sharing his skills with ALL of his students, regardless of our skill level or understanding... very professional, and very classy; brings such a positive vibe to the environment, such an enriching experience. This school is a fraud. I consider myself an artist but I needed to learn how to draw without references. I thought this school would be good to learn that, but I paid $300 for 10 lessons and I wasn’t thought anything but to measure with a ruler. I also paid $100 more for a bag of materials (apparently my pencils and erasers weren’t good enough) but I only used the eraser and a piece of charcoal for the whole 8 lessons. In those 8 lessons (3 hours each) all I did was replicate a piece of cloth. There was no professional advice or structured lessons for each class. You’re basically paying to have a space to draw. I quit after 8 “lessons” I was on my own the whole time, the “teacher” is just a person telling you that you’re doing good and that if you have any questions just ask. I WANT TO BE THAUGHT, NOT SUPERVISED. Just don’t waste your money here. You won’t learn a damn thing.
A lot of different teachers and art classes for young and adults. You can find the detailed description on their site. They really adapt their teaching according to the level of the student and his\her needs. My daughter really appreciates Mme Stéphanie. We cannot wait for classes to restart.
